MacKenzie River Pizza Co., Belgrade MT

Having lived in Montana for over 10 years, was hoping to try this staple on our week long visit. Tried 3 nights to get through on the phone unsuccessfully. 3rd attempt we tried to go in. Waited at the counter for a few minutes, finally saw someone and asked how long the wait would be for a to go order. The guy replied, “I don’t know. ” We gave up. Used to be great food, can’t speak to that now. The place wasn’t that busy, lots of open tables, it was Tuesday night.

Not happy with server. I am lactose intolerant. Specifically asked for vegan cheese. Hard to tell it wasn’t vegan cheese until an hour later when I’m literally fighting for my life. Been sick for 3 days. Thanks! Plus I was charged for the vegan cheese. Not happy!

Use too get pizza there all the time. But it seems they changed too just giving you pizza of all dough and no toppings. Have not eaten there since.

Very nice and clean location, friendly staff. Food itself is Mid. Pizza lacks real flavour, definitely edible but nothing special. Decent beer selection

We were greeted warmly and taken to a booth where we ordered our drinks right away. We ordered the lodgepoles for an appetizer and the good Ole boy large pizza. All of the food was super hot and fresh when it arrived at our table. Our server was courteous, hardworking, and fast! We will definitely eat here again.

Food was pretty darn good. Like i crave it sometimes! The service was not the beat but not terrible. We had to find someone to get refills and our bill, but it was like just her timing was off. She did check on us once right after we got our food. Id still go back, loe the armosphere too and Destany is my favorite hostess ever!

The flat bread appetizer was outstanding! Pizza was good, but had a hard act to follow. I'd go back again, and try the thin crust pizza.

MacKenzie river is a great family restaurant. The service is always great. We love the bread sticks (with pesto) and any of the pizzas available.

Pizza is unmatched. Try the Stockman it's meaty and delicious. Brussel sprouts are the best you'll ever have, too! And the service was great. I'm not sure how, but there was hardly any wait during peak dinner hours on a Friday.

Great place right off the Interstate in Belgrade to grab a bite to eat or a beverage of your choice. Enjoyed the service provided by our server Sam. The Flathead Pizza was pretty good. Only thing missing from it is fresh roasted garlic.

The food has been consistently good for at least the last 6 years. Love almost every pizza, the hot sandwiches, and the salads! My daughter worked here for her high school job for a couple of years, and i know everything is made very fresh! Just had a fantastic Cobb last weekend.
However, the Belgrade location has suffered great staff shortages since COVID and you may show up for them to randomly be closed, or like I experienced last Friday, dining room closed and open for only take out.

Honestly, the pizza was as bland as cardboard. Literally just no flavor with pepperoni, sausage, onions, mushrooms, ricotta.just blah. Server was great, but that's it

If there was an option for no stars I would have picked that! Absolutely horrible do not waste ur time or money! Worst service in all of montana 1 hr between beers food under cooked. Must count on tourist and one time customers.

Food was very good as always. And with them being short staffed right now they handled all customers in a timely manner and were very friendly.

What an amazing place, the building is stunning to look at and the inside is just as inviting. There was a sign about being short staffed however we were treated and seated promptly. Our drinks, appetizer and pizza were very Tasty and the staff was great! I would eat here again!

5th or 6th time had them for dinner tonight. The house named McKenzie river pizza was covered in heavy mozzarella, which destroyed the taste of the sparse sprinkling of toppings that had a mild taste. One time out of 5 or 6 times I was pleased….
