Awesome, quiet place on the river right off the main road. Great picnic & rafting launch spot, plus the beauty of the Absarokas in the background!

Sweet spot, not too crowded. In fact, it's nicely spaced out. Pit toilet but no water or power. The fishing here is awesome.

Just what we were looking for in a campsite! Clean, check in/payment process was clear and precise, restroom was clean! Would certainly return and will recommend to family and friends.

Awesome place to camp. There is some traffic noise from the highway and boat trailer shuttle traffic, so earplugs come in handy for light sleepers. Conveniently located about 30 minutes from Yellowstone's North Entrance.

We showed up a little late to this camp ground and read the sign at the front that said to pay and place a tab on your dash if there was no post present to place the tab. We searched for a spot and found a place with absolutely no signs saying to not camp, or any signs for that matter explaining what the spot was. We were rudely told off by a ranger in the morning that we were parked on a handicap service road. Again there were no signs anywhere staying this, and the way he told us was like he expected us to read his mind. Definitely would never recommend this camp ground and it’s definitely not worth 18 dollars. If people are paying these fees, which we did, they should be able to fund signs if they don’t want people to park in certain areas. There are plenty of other options in the area to choose!

July 2020, rate is $18, but $12 if you have a Montana fishing license. 7 day maximum stay. Boat launch, so a bit noisy early mornings starting about 5: 30 am. In the morning, some sites are available next to the river. Gone by the afternoon.
