They require a SSN or a $200 deposit. They'll have my deposit today if I pay it, but when I'm done with the service, it can take up to 6 weeks to return the deposit. Ever had your ID stolen due to a data breach? I have.

They force customers to use cable by charging by the gig for download ie streaming. Their services with sub par speeds are more expensive and less reliable than spectrums gig internet in Billings.

If they did not have a monopoly in miles city I would switch providers due to the sheer fact they rip consumers off by forcing the consumers to pay by the gig thus making it far too expensive to stream.

In all honesty I truly hope they get run out of business. They claim their "average" user is around $55/month. This has to be an all out lie. If it is somehow true its due to the fact that they are attempting to ruin streaming by forcing high internet pricing and forcing customers to buy their overly expensive cable "services". This is also partially due to age DISCRIMINATION due to only pandering to the elderly as many of them do not utilize the internet nearly as much as younger generations. Rather than making everyone happy with their services they refuse to consider younger generations and would rather make more money by forcing people to pay per gig. This is the only company I have heard of that is a pay per usage isp. Their business model is absolutely horrendous and they could care less about their customer base and instead care more about how much they can make by raking customers over the coals.

This internet is literally the worst internet possible. It costs an arm and a leg & is slow as molasses. It took the internet 90 minutes to download a 10 GB game. The customer service is great, but the product is literally the worst. I wish there was a different option for this area, but there isn't so we are stuck paying for expensive slow internet. It 2020 for goodness sakes.get it together.

Can't wait for Starlink,
fast, but they are taking advantage of us with the pay per gig racket they have going on. They removed the plans that have set speeds to force you onto a plan that charges you per gig (which is way more expensive for streaming services). When Starlink is available around the end of the year I suspect big changes in the way they charge for their services or a big switch in who provides internet in miles city.
