The food was amazing! So many great choices! Very reasonably priced! Best buffet in town. Very healthy and a very pleasant atmosphere. Great for families as well!

Was touring the college campus with TRiO. We were able to use the dining facility for our meals. It it has a huge wagon wheel on the ceiling and the lighting gives off very posh western bar vibes. The food is set up in groups by type of meal so burgers, dogs, and sandwiches in one area, salad bar in another. There is pizza and stir fry. It was challenging trying to find all the different foods I like to eat when I wasn't familiar with the layout. I had shrimp mango curry on rice with a side of veggies and watermelon. I would say I prefer the food here than at Emory in Atlanta. The veggies just seem to taste better.

My only complaint is that the rice was not cooked right the night i ate.it my impression that the rice cooker isn't steaming the rice properly so everything at the bottom was turning to rice paste and the rice at the top was still hard. My armature cooking theory is: I think there was too much rice for the capacity of the pot and not enough water, so the air couldn't circulate properly as the rice swelled. I'll let the culinary people sort that one out though.

I was really impressed with the dining compost system though! This is awesome and I think all restaurants should have bins for all compostable food waste. It made me so happy to know my inedible rice was going to feed the plants? It was the highlight of my dinner.

Depressing atmosphere, especially in the late evening. The food is inferior to Rondevous, though not all that bad, though over all, I would check the menu online before coming by. Sometimes you can see the sunset, which is pretty, though much of it is blocked by Yellowstone Hall.

Always a good selection of food, worst thing is when they offer finger steaks. And I got food poisoning

Has lots of options gets repetitive after 2 weeks straight.

Edit: Having moved away, the taste makes me shudder.

Also had some raw meat once, was a fun experience.

The pizza is the best. I don't know how but that "Matt" guy makes the best pizza this side of the Mississippi!

MSU grad, long time Bozeman resident here. Eat here from time to time. I also ate and worked at Miller when it was still "the schwag" and hadn't been updated.

I hear a lot of griping amongst some MSU students. Here's my thoughts as someone that went to school here recently. By and large, the only people that think Miller sucks now are trust fund kids from out of state. Is it the best food ever? No, but it's great for a place of buisness in Bozeman where a historically bad labor crisis is occurring. I'd be surprised if they even have half of their positions filled.

If the food we average people eat is no longer appealing to you, you're going to have to hire private caterers. Maybe work some food service in your off time so you can know what it feels like.

I will say though that it's all you can eat, so come hungry to make the value better

Food is aggressively mediocre, 60% of staff is incredibly rude, and I watched a young man (a manager with glasses and a ponytail) harass a young lady (a new girl working the sandwich bar) with no consequence. I've gotten sick from their eggs twice now. The majority of their food is either swimming in grease, or had been sitting under a heat-lamp for far too long.

I was at MSU for a summer research program and frequently ate at Miller for lunch and dinner. The food here is great! I got meals on my CatCard, but anyone can eat here ($8 breakfast, $11 lunch, $12 dinner). Since I ate here so many times, I would sometimes get tired of the food available, but they changed it up pretty well. For lunch and dinner, they have a salad bar, a sandwich bar (except for dinner on weekends), an Asian food bar, a burger bar, a dinner/meat bar, and a dessert bar. There is always fruit available, and some breakfast foods (cereal, bread, bagels, fruit) are available all day. The breakfast food was amazing, but I didn't eat it there much (I realized late how great it was. There are plenty of drink options (fruit juices, sodas, milk, water) available as well, in the dispensers.

It's all the same kitchen with different counters, but it's okay maybe cool when fully staffed during the school year

Wow. Dorm food has come a long way. So many options, even for plant based eaters. Hoping my son chooses to go to MSU so we can visit Miller again.

Good if you only like eating rotisserie. Like every night. Not many vegan or vegetarian options.

This place is crawling with college-aged kids. They must be serving Fortnite and iPhones!:)
