Mineshaft Pasty Co, Hamilton MT

This is a MUST for anyone visiting as well as locals. Beautiful people and amazing service. The coffee and baked goods are next level!

It's been years since I've eaten here but it was tasty when I did eat at the shaft.lol

We love this place! The bakery items are amazing & Gabe is awesome! We always enjoy the atmosphere as well. Comfy sofas!

Wow, amazing food, service, and ambiance! You will feel like family here. Everything you want in a small town coffee shop. Do not miss the “Moonlight, ” their version of a dirty chai. It’s like Christmas in a cup!

Place looks a bit rough from the outside, but has the best cinnamon rolls in town! Super good and baked fresh daily! The inside has a pretty nice lobby with tables and a couch. Would love to see them add some more lighting as it seems like a cave inside. Some more light would make it more like a working space and bring in that “cafe” feel. I’ll for sure be back here to try the coffee and have another cinnamon roll!

They also sell the pastries at Big Creek down the road, but the coffee is really bad at Big Creek - will be going to Mineshaft from now on.

Literally the only downside about this place is the fact that they don’t have a drive through! The pastys are amazing, the scones are out of this world and the coffee is SO delicious! It’s clear that the baristas (and the baker) know exactly what they’re doing. If you want a breakfast pasty get there early. They do run out. If they’re out by the time you get there don’t hesitate to try a different one. They’re all SO GOOD! My new favorite spot in Hamilton. Why did I wait so long? *insert drool emoji*

This is my all time favorite place to get a matcha latte or a chai and something gluten free! Their lemon bread is the all time best I've ever had! The Barista's and the other staff are amazing and very nice! If I could give 10 stars I would! Love it!

I absolutely LOVE my Mineshaft time! The atmosphere is almost as good as my chai? ! Love the upbeat family here after a long day and all I want is to relax and be taken care of. You will not be disappointed! Try it for yourself. If you dont know what to order, ask Gabe, he will not steer you wrong.

Great place. I had never had a pasty before and am now hooked! The drinks and pastries are amazing also and the employees always have a smile. Would recommend!

Hands down, the BEST homemade baked goods around. The huckleberry lemon scone is amazing! The pasties are great, the service is awesome and the atmosphere is relaxed. Definitely recommend!

I can not tell you one place in the past 10 months that the food and service is as good much less better than before Covid UNTIL today.

It is 3 pm so I am fine that I only have one choice of pasty.
The young man working is hands down one of the best employees I have had in years.

You feel welcomed as soon as you walk in. His suggestions are excellent, he knows his product. He is upbeat and friendly.

I have been here an hr.and he treats everyone like he is thrilled to see them.

Tried it, wasn't disappointed! It was early and they were already sold out of some things so go early. Had a choc donut with choc chip cookie. Super good. Nice young man waited on us.

Everything here is delicious and the coffee is amazing! Huge selection and super reasonably priced. The family who owns Mineshaft is so sweet and helpful and always offer pleasant conversation. They are very safe with Covid guidelines too which was important to me. Their chocolate chipper will brighten even the worst days. A gem in the bitterroot valley!
