Based on personal experience I highly recommend that you steer as far away from this business as possible. Russ Sickles and live in girlfriend Lisa Jeffrey will lie, manipulate, cheat and falsely bill you. They will claim they know how to fix your boat, will have done in 3 weeks, fail to complete, hold your boat hostage, remove expensive parts and try to replace parts not needed at high dollar amounts. They will quote you $65 per hour rate for labor and bill you $150 per hour. They will claim they completed repairs not requested and they are genius for doing so. They will hold your property hostage after sitting on it for 3 months and then deliver a bill over $4000.00 dollars for a boat that is worth $800.00. To date we have had outreach from complete strangers whereas Russ Sickles has made derogatory remarks about me being white and my husband being native and slandering us publicly because we chose to challenge his unethical behavior. CAUTION TO ALL ~ RUN the other way, do not patronize this business unless you want to be subjected to pure hell.
Russ promised completion of a simple job "in one week" and after two months of broken promises I had to pick up the boat and take it elsewhere - dismantled.
Russ did a great job on our boat repair. It's one of those things that you have to be patient with. Summer is short and everyone wants their boat now!
