Missoula Montana Airport

First time at MSO in four years. NOT impressed with the changes! But whatever. No one travels to see an airport.

Was picking up an arriving passenger and love that you can still park in front of the terminal and wait without being harassed to move along. The new remodel is impressive and yet, the airport vibe is still Missoula. The joke use to be that it was an International Airport because someone from Canada flew in once, but now, the name can actually be applied with all joking aside.

Big enough but not too big. Personnel are very nice. Will be nice when the new rental car facilities open.

Love the new 1/2 of the terminal that is finally done.still construction.
Parking upgrades are close & convenient.never a wait to get in through security.

It is a small but fully equipped airport, it has everything you need for a comfortable and safe trip. The review for admission did not take us more than 10 minutes.

You guys really need more people at the security checks. One station isn’t even being used, and I was almost late to my flight coming in 120 minutes early.

Couldn’t get there early had to wait outside for bag check and then wait again for security. No one here works full time it’s like 30 minute stints and then they close it down. No food was available.

Worst small airport I’ve ever been to

Flew American Airlines. Luggage was missing as soon as I got off the airline. An hour later they called and said to pick it up. The lock was missing and the zipper broken. They had to move it off the conveyor to make way for another airline before we landed apparently. Told me I was out of luck for the damage.

Good selection of snacks and drinks. Selection of huckleberry products and some Montana merchandise.
Going through TSA was a breeze because of the new scanner, so various things did not have to be removed from bags.

Security was about 20 minutes. Clean interior. Great views on the day. Available chargers. Definitely an airport.

This small airport is always easy to access and has good staff. Additional parking has been added to alleviate a previous crowding issue. The indoor coffee, bar and restaurant make it a comfortable place to wait your flight

The new airport remodel is nice. However TSA sucks. Even with pre check they make you remove belts and shoes and take everything out of your pockets. I literally watched them make a guy remove his flip flops.

Security is easier to go through than any other airport I've been to, they've got the new X-ray scanners so you don't need to take liquids out. Plus TSA are actually nice here, I came through with a knee brace on and wasn't treated like an annoyance, yay! Wish the food and drink was cheaper but you aren't gonna win in an airport. Renovation has made it modern and pretty! Only ever been delayed once and it was in the middle of winter when we needed to be de-iced.

The worst experience of my life. Not a single warning or message that this airports sends out a batch flight in the morning and that TSA takes longer than the flight itself. We showed up early and stood in tsa forever. Our flight closed the doors at 6: 15 and we got to the doors at 6: 15.

On the right evening, if you walk to the end of the terminal, you can catch a beautiful view of the sun setting! I've enjoyed traveling in and out of this airport for work.

$100 million renovation and the Wi-Fi still doesn’t work. Highest flight prices in Montana if not the country. Very few flights. Not sure how they can get much worse but the new terminal looks pretty)

Very nice on the inside. No working Wi-Fi. Took about one hour to get luggage. Only one person operating luggage and they were not in a hurry.
