12I loved this place! It felt like a museum mixed with a candy store. The candy was great too.
Granted I am a candy fan, no lies detected but this place was great. A bunch of treats, barrels full of taffy, and local specialities like huckleberry licorice (can recommend!)
The taffy capital of the world? If you’re in to nostalgic candies in a 50’s setting with every flavor of taffy ever made - this is it! Throwback candy, multiple soda (pop?) flavors, hand made chocolates, fudge by the pound - what’s not to like! For me it’s the taffy - so many flavors there are even three different ones with banana (banana, banana split and banana pie).
Thick black hair in my peanut butter cup. Its melted into it, so not one of ours. That ruined this place for me.
Great assortment of sweet treats. Homemade fudge has always been my favorite. Welcoming, friendly workers. A must while you're in Red Lodge. It's open year around.
The fudge isn't made the same as it used to be. I spent 40 bucks and most of it we tossed (4 different types).
Still love the old fashioned gums though

Very cute old time store. Drove 1.5hr out of my traveling way just to go to this store again. Love that it's such an old time Candy Store and offers so many items. Well worth spending $50 in candy!
Super cute shop. We always stop at unique candy stores on our vacations for taffy; it's become tradition. This store does not lack in its taffy selection!

Based on previous reviews, my husband and I knew we needed to stop here during our short stay in Red Lodge. If you only go for the museum quality of this awesome candy shop, you'll still leave feeling as stuffed (figuratively) as if you'd inhaled all the goodies in the store! The candy varieties are endless and brought lots of nostalgia. Recommend purchasing one of the huckleberry candies for sure. And if you have time, visit the Antique Mall down the block.
