The best meal we've had since we've been in Helena and also great service. Both of our meals were awesome! I highly recommend this place.

We have had enjoyable meals here before but this last one was one of the worst we have experienced anywhere. The dining room was only half full. Our salads came before our appetizer and then we waited. People that arrived after us were served and nearly finished eating when we were told our meals would be ready in ten minutes! We had them put in to-go boxes and left. We won't be returning!

Food is great. I have gotten the wrong burger from what I ordered or it not being the way described on the menu the last few times but it's always good.

We went there yesterday for memorial Day weekend. We had a waitress that was just awful. She had an attitude when we told her it was cold in the restaurant. She wanted to argue about it she said it was 80° and there's no way it could have been several of us lady said so. We had a large group. It was all ladies and she just had a bad attitude. Also we didn't get our french fries so we asked two different times for them she finally brought them. The food was good this time though. I would go back but I wouldn't have the same waitress wait on me.

I will be happy to go back. Good prices and good food. Chicken fried steak and mashed with a Hefeweizen. Our waiter, Justin, was super too.

Service was bad. Food was horrible. $25 for chicken fried steak that was a frozen product from Costco. Would never recommend.

Had an enjoyable dinner Saturday night, great food and excellent service, our server, Josie took great care of us as always!

Excellent service, nice portions for food, comfy booth, food could use a bit more flavor is all. Wonderful atmosphere. Husband was pleased with his prime rib, I had the chicken parm.

Food was okay, had to dam near trip the waitress to get anything such as refills. We ate on the bar side because we were early for dinner, assuming that was reason for poor service.

I took my 19-month old son for a father son dinner. I got the beer cheese nachos and he got the chicken and fries. The waitress was amazing and brought us some bread rolls to keep my little man occupied until the food arrived. They were attentive and kept my water glass full and brought my son something to color. The nachos were great I would highly recommend this place

My husband and I are regulars at Montana City. We love the food and we love the service. We always ask for Josie and are never disappointed. She always has a smile and never gets flustered, no matter how busy she is. We look forward to our next visit!

The service was good, and the broccoli soup was very good. The salad was disappointing in that they got it wrong despite clarifying twice (server asked me, I confirmed). Since I can't eat shrimp, hubby got a salad lol. Given the time schedule we were on it wouldn't have made sense to send it back. I also noticed it was basically lettuce and shredded cheese, not a full salad.

That said we would definitely eat there again as the prices were not unreasonable, the service was good and it is conveniently located.

I don't even know where to begin. Everything was just AMAZING! The food, staff, service etc. It was a perfect place for a date night.

I went there a couple days ago. I ordered calamari it was $14.99. Which I don't mind paying if it's a good amount and it is good food. They used to give you a lot more of it for your money. Which I complained about so they threw a couple in. It was cold the batter was not covering the octopus so you can taste the chewy octopus without breading. I called to complain and they never returned my call. Will never go there again and would suggest no one else does either.

The food & drinks were excellent. Our server was attentive, but rushed us too much. We had barely sat down when we were asked if we were ready to order. Asked for more time to decide & were chatting with some old friends who stopped by to say hello. She interrupted us twice to ask if we were ready to order yet. She was attentive, which we appreciated, but needs to learn to read the situation and slow down. We understand if it's busy and people are waiting for tables, but that wasn't the case. She handed us our check before we had even finished our wine and didn't offer dessert. I complement the food as it was wonderful, but would have enjoyed a more relaxing experience.

When the food looks great & the reviews are high, its so disappointing when its not true. My steak was way overdone & no flavor. My salad was lettuce & croutons.
