Is the owner cranky? Aren't we all? But, if you're seriously considering building a raft, or otherwise planning on screwing around in boats in the summertime, you can't miss this place. Also, if you're a veteran and / or a gun enthusiast, you owe it to yourself to take a run through. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful, and well they don't have the used guns then Capital does, they give a veterans discount, and are generally awesome to work with.

Ol boy behind the gun counter ain't hittin on much.from the other reviews i’ve read, he may be the owner, but I am not sure. Not only is he vulgar and very cocky, he passes along false information to customers, probably in hopes it increases his sales. The store has great items and a great gun selection, and the people in the front of the store are very friendly. But, this one gentleman in particular, told me about some "laws" that only took a quick google search to prove to be false. He argued with me over it, and I let it go. Also, he was overheard passing along more false laws to other customers. I'd recommend taking a peak at their gun selection and other items, but maybe don't ask mister gun man for any advice. If you do, make sure you do some fact checking. The other reviews will back this up. I highly recommend Capital Sports, the customer service and knowledge there is far superior.

Always a good place to shop. They have more than you see on the shelves, so let them know what you are looking for.

Called in and found out that they had small rifle primers that I had been looking for. Was estatic because they are so hard to find right now. Drove clear into town for these just to get there and then be told that I have to purchase absurdly priced ammo as well in order to get their primers. Policy is fine to have, but tell people that over the phone when they say they are going to drive in and get them. Waste of time and gas. Go to Capital, Murdock's, or Bob Wards.all are way better establishments.
