Fantastic rafting experience on the Gallatin River! The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, fun and professional! We had originally booked the less challenging experience but when we arrived they asked if we'd like to do the more challenging ride. We ended up doing the more challenging ride and we don't regret it! It was incredible! I think what made our ride even more enjoyable was our very knowledgeable, informative, personable, skilled and fun guide, Cole Coffer. We will most definitely be back to ride again! Thanks so much for an incredible day!

My husband booked this trip for my birthday and we both had such an amazing time! All the staff was very helpful and friendly and when it was time for rafting, the guides were all funny and explained everything in detail so you’re prepared. Our guides name was Newby and he was great. Definitely recommend this place for white water rafting! We’ll be back in June to try the rafting during the higher water levels for more of a challenging ride! Thank everyone at Montana Whitewater for such an awesome experience!

We just finished whitewater rafting here and it was a blast! It was very exciting at times and relaxing at others. Our guide was the best! Very informative and friendly. He kept the conversation going and was very interesting. We got pretty wet and we got to go over and around some very nice-sized rapids. The whole experience was very enjoyable. We would love to do this again if we are ever in the area. Definitely highly recommend!

Most fun day of vacation for family of 4 (kids 10 & 16). We participated in Classic Zip & Dip. Guides helped one another so gearing up was efficient. Equipment cleaned between groups, clear communication before during & after trip. Lots of fun! This was our first time on a zipline or whitewater. Some of us have never even been on a canoe or kayak before. We are ready for more now but it was a good place to start. Guides (Piper, Sage & Trevor) were great. Pictures are a fun. We researched many places before deciding on MWW; we had to drive further for this experience than for others but it was worth it!

I've gone with other companies up in Gallatin area and they were fun. Montana Whitewater Rafting was so amazing, we had a blast and loved our instructor David. The owner is so patient and willing to do whatever to make you experience that much better. Thanks to all the staff for making it possible to have a great time! We'll definitely be back next year!

Did a day of Super Zip & Dip. Our zip guides (Emma and Cody) were awesome, and so was out rafting guide (Spencer). Thanks guys for a fun day!

The zipline was super fun for the whole family. All of us first timers - Mark and Joey were great guides.

I have done this before, and in good weather, it was a lot of fun. On this day, when we arrived, it was about to storm. Our driver did not seem concerned nor did he offer any alternatives. We proceeded to go and it rained and stormed the entire 2+ hours. It was so cold.not to mention dangerous. Our driver did not attempt to pick us at any places along the route. There should be a plan. Hugely disappointing

My sister and I did the exclusive half day trip on the Gallatin with Barbo and had an AMAZING time! Everything was very well organized and ran smoothly. Barbo is a very fun, goofy and experienced guide who was anxious to give us exactly what we wanted on the trip. We highly recommend this trip to anyone who has rafted before and wants a faster, more intimate experience. It was so worth it and a highlight of our time in Montana!

Had an excellent rafting trip with these guys. I prefer this company over others because they are professional, safe, engaging and still maintains each guides’ own unique style.

Absolutely fabulous time! My husband and I chose the exclusive package where it is just us and the guide in a smaller raft. Made for a fun and informative trip! Our guide was Tom and he was amazing. We will definitely come back and we highly recommend this company.

Relaxed and friendly team who enjoy what they do and the guest who walk in the door. Boats are in great shape. Life jackets smell from a life on the river but that's part of the gig. The river trip is sectioned into three parts; its more chill the first leg and builds to rock filled class 3 challenges for the last. Bill has been the owner since 1992 and gets on the river to guide with the crew.

We did this trip in August 2017 and again in 2019. Fun time for adults and our kids (now 10 years old). Tom Skinner was a great guide! We’ll be back again!

This was an excellent trip, with excellent service, and an excellent (rowdy, gnarly) route.

My daughter and I booked an Exclusive, all-day trip on the Gallatin River. We rode in The Pickle raft. Merv did a great job steering the raft, physically challenged us at times, found some cool small spots to surf, and gave awesome commentary. In fact, he taught us a lot about the river, history, the local area, etc.

Lunch was very good and accommodated us with gluten free/ dairy free.

I've been rafting ~12 other times with other raft companies around the country. This was the best trip I've been on.

We had a SPECTACULAR time! Our guide “Hero” was the BEST! (No, he didn’t pay me to say that). This was a Perfect activity for us! The whole staff was AWESOME! We will be back! Highly recommend these guys!

Did the zipline basic package. So much fun and our guides amazing. Mark and Cosmo. They were funny and personable, but you could tell that they were very focused on everyone's safety. Highly recommend!

Unreliable company. They cancelled my paid reservation 2 days before my trip and left us waiting at the pickup location. These guys are insanely disorganized on the backend and I was told something different everytime I called and talked to them. I reluctantly agreed to pay an extra seat to fill a four person boat trip just to "guarantee" a bear trap canyon trip. All to have it unexpectedly cancelled 2 days for no apparent reason. Unbelievable and they ruined one of the highlights of our Montana trip. I guess the only good part of it is that you can drive through the canyon on the highway which I've done many times and it doesn't look all that exciting so it was probably money well saved.
