Montana's Rib & Chop House- Butte

The pork chop was amazing and the fried green tomato was the best I have had in my life. I'm from the south so that says alot! Skyler was an amazing waitress!

First night we went our waiter was very awkward and laughed every time we placed an order. I asked for the huckleberry mojito and when I got my mojito it had no mint at all. The second night we had a very large table and the service was much better however, later during the evening a random person came and sat at our table and made everyone uncomfortable and the staff did nothing to remove him. We ended up leaving instead.

Food is always cold. I’ve tried more than once at this location and they can never get it right. I ordered baseball cut filet and it’s suppose to come out sizzling on a hot plate not this one it had been sitting for a while. I’ve tried ribs always cold. Tried there baked potato always cold. I’m done

Have tried this place about 5 times. Only twice was it good. Incredibly slow service - both to be waited on and for the food to come. I think I'll give up on it.

The Rib & Chop House in Butte has the same great food as every other Rib & Chop House restaurant. We HIGHLY recommend the sweet potato fries and boudin balls! We haven't been disappointed yet with a meal at the chop house (what we call it). The prices are reasonable as well, and the service has always been good to great for us.

The restaurant in Butte is attached to a nice hotel, so while we walked to the bathroom and back, we enjoyed the lovely Christmas decorations the hotel had set up.

My wife and I had dinner with our Pastor and his wife. The Rib and Chop House was beautiful and surprisingly well attended.
However, the prices are much too high for our area.
Our waiter made a mistake in delivering our, or rather my food. I ordered Clam Chowder, normally served hot, was brought to me cold. I don't think it was ever in the microwave.

I was impressed with the food at this location. I ordered from the wine menu and they had a wide selection. I ordered the 6 oz filet. Usually if I am paying over $25 for a 6oz I like to get a side dish with my meal. So I got a small serving of meat on a plate and that was it. But the quality and taste were amazing. It had a buttery taste that was so good. Small serving and meal but I didn't leave hungry.

Went there for dinner with three other people. The food was excellent. I got the charbroiled Chicken and would recommend it to anyone. I will be going back again soon.

Standard beer is $5 a piece. One shot of anything is $10. Food is great. If your military they won’t give the discount toward your whole check or your spouse. Just your food. Sad really.

The staff was helpful and polite. The service was prompt and efficient. The food was cooked to order and served in a timely Manor even at peak dinner rush. Overall a good experience.

I always eat the pork chop, and the one I just ate was the best one I've ever had! A ten all the way! God bless the rib and chop house!

Very disappointed. Decided to give it another try after several months hoping it would be better, that was our first mistake. Slow service, waitress was not friendly and never even refilled our water. Spinach dip was cold an lacked flavor. The salad was not bad once I removed the excess croutons, it's like they dumped the whole bag on there. As soon as I dipped my fried shrimp in the coctail sauce, all the breeding came off, this happened with each one so I'm not sure how The "fried" shrimp tasted. The shrimp themselves tasted like your grocery store variety, nothing remarkable. The french fries were cold and soggy. Won't be going back.

Extremely busy, but the GM was present and helping seat incoming guests and bussing tables. Food and service was excellent. Great teamwork!

My steak was cooked exactly to order. The wine had breathed but not been open for a long time. The service was polite and efficient. There really wasn't anything I could complain about.

You get the five stars because our server was on point. Meal came out exactly like we hoped.
One thing, if anyone in Rib and Chop House land is listening who can make some changes.
If your bartender can't make a Long Island Iced Tea, they aren't a bartender until then. How can one make a bad drink with a phone and Google search at your fingertips?

The food was delicious! There were tables around ours that didn't get cleaned for the whole hour that we got there, but it wasn't busy. The service was great and speedy.

The best steak I've eaten since The Palm and Ruth Chris. Outrageously wonderful filet. The fried green tomatoes and IN house blue cheese dressing are amazing. The servers are friendly and professional. My favorite steak place in Butte.probably all of Montana!

Stacey is seriously one of the sweetest most amazing servers I have ever encountered in Butte. She has an outgoing personality with great spunk!

We come in around 3-4 times a month. I may have reviewed previously, I can’t remember.

Getting drinks from the bar is sometimes slow- but we’re still in the era of Covid induced staff shortages. We own a steakhouse ourselves- so we definitely understand the challenges of staffing for a huge operation such as this.

The food is always great.

The reason for this review is to thank the management for having Kaden B as a server. What an amazing guy! He was extremely prompt, cheerful, and communication was great. He always checked on us, and let us know he didn’t forget about us when our drink order was slow coming out. Excellent service and food. This was the first time visiting this restaurant. Tracy provided excellent service and made our visit fantastic. She is the best. My fillet was perfectly done medium rare. Melt in your mouth. Hubby's rack of ribs were also perfect. I would highly recommend giving the restaurant a try.
