Moose Junction Coffee & Pizza reviews
18The best coffee in Helena! You haven't had a white chocolate mocha until you've had it here.
Edit: Pizza is still decent, but service has gone way down hill. What used to be a dependable 20-30 minutes is now a crapshoot. It's a 50/50 shot whether your pizza will be cold or you'll be waiting an hour. I won't be ordering from them anymore.
Great service and good pizza. The pizza is better than most chains, but still lacks an “original”, “homemade”, “authentic”, “artisanal”, or “off-the-hook” tag. An original crust and sauce would be a start. All in all, an above average pizza.
Great coffee.
Pretty good pizza. Lots of topping varieties. I personally would prefer the crust to be a bit crisper.
Normally love coming here, today I ordered and when I got to the window they said they were out of butterscotch but could substitute it with butterrum and it would be the same but it’s definitely nothing similar. My drink was terrible.
I love the White Chocolate and regular Mocha Frappe. It’s a great place for a treat for the kiddos too. The family lives for their pizza and I highly recommend!
Moose Junction Mocha with an extra shot is my fave. For the price, their pizza is also good.
Great coffee and awesome pizza plus the prices are very reasonable. If you get a drink in the drive thru expect to wait at least 5 minutes for you drink once you reach the window.
Moose Junction is an interesting little spot. They've got solid coffee and solid pizza with no frufru and just a little moose-oriented whimsy.
There is literally nothing special about any of the toppings on a moose pizza. Everything looks to be grocery store bought or out of a can. The pizza dough might be homemade, but I doubt. Why do I say this? Because it just goes to show you how taking the time to assemble a pizza with a little thoughtful attention goes a lot further than high-falluting ingredients. This pizza is like a pizza I would have made at home, on a good day, when I had plenty of time, and it was just for me and my wife. And for that, I am happy to buy one from a fun little local spot like Moose Junction.
Their Frozen Caffe Mocha was the best! Favorite coffee shop I’ve been to by far. The pizza is awesome as well
The pizza, drinks, and service we received were excellent! Everything was well prepared, served in a timely manner, and the prices were great.
The issue I have with Moose Junction is that the dine-in experience with pizza could be improved upon considerably. The dining room was small enough as it was (this is more-so a coffee shop than pizza parlor), but half the room was taken up by extra kitchen equipment and pizza to-go boxes. This left very little space for our family of four to dine in and place our pizzas; the tables were exceedingly small and we had to use multiple. The plates and utensils we were provided with were also greasy and smudged. They looked like they had been hastily washed in dirty water.
I get that the majority of diners at Moose Junction will get their pizza to-go. But, if they aren't willing to put in the extra work for dine-in, why even offer it?
Called ahead and lo and behold they actually had gluten free pizza! And.
It was very good! And be sure to get the Huckleberry Freeze. The crust is like a thin regular crust, not like a cracker! I would highly recommend!
Friendly staff. Pizza is decent. I ordered a slice and it took about 10 mins to warm the slice.
I've been going to Moose Junction since their opening, and since that day, I've never had a bad beverage or a so-so pizza. The specials are creative and delicious for anything they do. It's convenient, the staff is friendly, and the food and beverages are to die for! Thanks for being around Moose Junction!
Pizza is super good, fresh in house dough from the taste. Doesn't have you praying the next day like dominos and pizzahut, and I ate a whole medium. Moose mocha is most delish as well!
I love there pizza. As I don't normally like pizza. Becuase all the grease, it really makes my tummy upset. But I found out there pizza is almost non greasy like other pizzas I have had. I love the ranch, its so delious. Its so much better then Ken's steak house ranch. You can go wrong with order a pizza from them and if you haven't had one yet, I highly recommend trying a slice or a whole pizza.
First I want to say that I really like their pizza. It is delicious, but they don't have thick crust, or pan crust, which I wish they did, and if I could take 1/2 a star off for that I would, but that small detail isn't worth taking a whole star, so they still get a 5 star rating.
A couple of things to note. They have the best crust ever. Normally the crust on pizza is just a blah leftover type thing, but this crust is soft and delicious enough to make a POINT of eating, especially with some ranch.
BE CAREFUL THOUGH! DO NOT buy their medium. They have two sizes, a large and a medium. The medium is about half the size of the large but it costs inky $5 less of what the large does. So if you buy a bunch of mediums you'll pay almost as much as you would if you bought a bunch of larges but you'll get half as much pizza. I learned this the hard way by buying mediums first and wondering why they were so small and so expensive. But once you understand that it's only five dollars more each to get the ones twice the size, it's a much better deal. Still not cheap though.
The other thing my wife really likes is that it's a full-service coffee shop with all the fancy coffees you can imagine. I've never seen a pizza/coffee shop before. I think it's a great idea though and they were ingenious for thinking it up. My wife loves their sugar-free vanilla lattes and they have a reward system and usually every two trips we can get a free sugar free vanilla latte from my wife as a reward. Well done moose Junction.
In addition, they offer dairy free cheese which is very important because my daughter, who loves pizza, cannot have dairy, can eat here! That is a huge plus and it's the only pizza place I know where you can get dairy free cheese on your pizza. Also, they have a drive through!
I recommend Moose junction if you like pizza, but BUY THE LARGES! And moose Junction, please offer thick or pan crusts! PLEASE? !
