Old Fort Benton Bridge

I remember going on this with my dad. We were there for our cousin's wedding. Years later I learned that Clint Eastwood and Jeff Bridges were there for the filming of Thunderbolt and Lightfoot. How cool is that? !

We drove to see this bridge very late in the evening, so it was very dark and cold, but it still was interesting and somewhat eerie. There was a lot of snow and wind, but it was worthy of a visit.

The old fort bridge has recently been updated and is a great place to take a stroll, sit, and enjoy the peaceful Missouri River. It could even be a great place to have a picnic as they have added some picnic tables.
