Outlaw Diner reviews
20Absolutely delicious gyro about as far from Greece as you can get. Wife said bacon was fabulous.
The Outlaw Diner is my favorite place to eat. I don't need fancy places to eat, because that's not me. The Outlaw Diner Is such a
Great place to eat. I love the record covers on the wall, the music they play.
What a great atmosphere. Norma and Jaime are wonderful. Couldn't ask for better place to eat.
Outlaw Diner is a fun, Western experience that serves up consistently delicious meals that you can't beat! This last visit, we had a Denver cheese scramble, a Lawman, and a Bootlegger. Large portions so bring your big boy pants!
Great little gem right on the main strip of Columbia falls. Real fast food and service with a smile.
Great spot for breakfast. Was visiting glacier for a few days and ended up eating at this spot a couple of times. Very nice staff and service. Good people and good food.
Food was good, coffee strong. The egg scramble bowl was good. Women dressed to lure. I didn't like the vibes.
Great breakfast menu, but service was a bit lacking for larger groups. Some menu items weren't available. Not sure how that happens when there's a grocery store across the street? !
Food was decent, but we had a hard time ordering because it seemed everything my son picked from the menu was not available for some reason. Then, they closed 3 hours early and we were the last ones in the restaurant. Just kind of an awkward experience.
Edible, but barely.
Everything about my experience at this establishment was horrible. I got the chicken fried steak and couldn’t stomach it. They had to put a sign on the door saying they couldn’t handle the breakfast rush… of ten people. The workers were rude, the food was trash. This “restaurant” is a stain on the town of Columbia Falls. At least the water was free; could have been sewer water though.
Was a terrible experience from walking in. They can only handle 10 customers at once, service was not good and not even polite and the food was even worse. Would highly recommend going anywhere else and save yourself the disappointment.
This breakfast place was AMAZING in 2022. Sadly upon revisiting this month we were told that they wouldn’t serve us since there were 5 in our party. They also were unwilling to make a to-go order because the cook “doesn’t like” to make them. There were only 4 tables in the place at the time, it was BIZARRE! We offered to split into two tables and were told that it would be an extremely long wait if we wanted to eat there. We were told that if we visited in the future maybe they would have more staff to accommodate us. SUCH a bummer.and so strange.
I enjoy this place.have gone multiple times.had biscuits and gravy this last time.gravy was different but I did like it.
Very unimpressed. We walked in as a party of 6 and were told they could only serve 4 of us. They would serve us 4 and 2,3 and 3, but would not do all 6 of us. There was a girl working who said it was her first day, so she asked the owner about it, and he did not come out to explain the rule, he sent her back out and she just said I'm not really sure, but you guys can order separate and sit together. We all just felt weird vibes from the get go, and left before even ordering.
Tried to go here several different mornings. It was either closed during its operational hours or would not let customers in.
The scrambled eggs are powdered eggs and it should theoretically be impossible to cook bacon so poorly that it doesn’t taste good, but these guys have mastered it.
Go anywhere else for breakfast.
Cool place to eat. Great service, just had to order & pay for food at counter and then they bring it to you. On our trip out west, lots of places were like this due to staff shortages.
Such a fun little diner! We came in at their closing time and didn’t realize it and they still treated us with the upmost care and hospitality! (Even though I’m sure they were dreading it! Hahaha I know I’ve been in the industry my entire life) good job guys! I know these holidays are brutal and you did a great job!
Rude waiter. I asked for my eggs over medium, at which point he literally shouted out "No! ". I was speechless. Next he said nothing, but pointed abruptly to the menu on the wall behind him without explaining anything. I didn't know what was wrong until he finally repointed to the words "scrambled or hard fried. ". So rude! When the food finally came, the scrambled egg portion was barely bigger than the circumference of a large coffee cup. The toast was like cardboard, not buttered and cold. Two tiny burnt bacon strips. We left hungry and will never be back to this joint.
The staff is overworked and frustrated and it shows. Temper with patrons won’t get you too far. Food is decent but overpriced
Best Chicken fried steak I’ve had in the last decade. This diner is giving me vibes of being a western version of my favorite spot in Jax (the fox) and I’m absolutely here for it. Outlaw country (& some oldies) music on the radio, comfy booths and a very well executed menu. Gravy is delicious, flavorful & just the right consistency. The potatoes & steak are fried amazingly. Only regret is not ordering a biscuit or bread to sop up the last lil bits of this gravy.
