Oh man, one of the best meals we've had in LONG time! We got the brussel sprouts, bison steak with fries, saffron coconut curry with chicken and pineapple cilantro margaritas. Everything was naturally gluten free, which was great for me. My husband, who doesn't have to avoid gluten, agrees that its was some of the best food we've had. Celebrated our 17th anniversary with the best food and amazing staff. Thank you!

The libations and atmosphere held a certain allure that resonated deeply. Nestled at the bar, my wife and I found ourselves in the delightful company of Jim throughout the evening—a masterful purveyor of cocktails who exuded a palpable pride in his craft.

Embarking on our culinary journey, we commenced with a selection of appetizers. The steak tartare, emerged as a contender for my personal favorite in Missoula. The kale and Brussels salad, an exquisite symphony of flavors, claimed its place as my second favorite in town, trailing only behind The Patio's warm kale salad. Without a doubt, these delights shall grace our palates upon our return, although the allure of exploring other offerings is undeniable.

Alas, the zenith of our gastronomic adventure stumbled upon an unexpected detour with the evening's special—a tantalizing ensemble of house-made pasta and lobster. Regrettably, both elements arrived on our table in a state of overindulgence. A courteous request for a remake was met with understanding from the staff, yet fate intervened as the newly implemented POS system wreaked havoc, leaving us bereft of the promised redo.

Jim's unwavering attentiveness and diligent follow-ups softened the blow. The manager, whose name eludes my memory, emerged to extend a personal apology for the inconvenience. Admirably, the entire ordeal was navigated with the utmost professionalism—a gesture that did not go unnoticed. Though offered a gracious compensation of complimentary entrées or a selection of appetizers, our canine companion beckoned us homeward, and we graciously declined.

In reflection, the evening unfolded as a delightful tapestry of pleasantries, with commendations bestowed upon the entire staff. The minor hiccup encountered was just that—a minor disturbance in the otherwise harmonious symphony of our experience. Anticipation lingers for our future rendezvous with Pangea, where culinary delights await in abundance.

This was a fantastic meal and I felt super safe! We ordered the pork belly and Cesar salad as starters. Then we had the filet mignon and bison. We ended with the creme brûlée. ALL was amazing! The atmosphere, the service, the taste and items are marked GF and I was reassured several times they take precautions in the kitchen!

Very disappointing experience on January 5th, 2024, our evening was completely marred by the behavior of the hostess. Despite arriving at 3: 57 pm for our 4 pm reservation, we were compelled to enter the establishment as we noticed other customers entering the restaurant. The hostess displayed overt rudeness towards both my wife and me, treating us as if we were unwelcome and did not deserve to be there. Her remark, "You need to wait three minutes" was snappy and accompanied by a snobby attitude. Food was quite expensive for the quality, French onion soup had no flavor, lobster was overdone on the evenings entree special, lobster linguine, crab cake tasted like canned cardboard but the tuna tar tar was delicious and fresh. Cocktails were amazing and our waiter was, thankfully, nice and attentive. This was our second time eating at Pangea and unfortunately it will be our last.

They overrate their dishes and desserts. I ordered a half cooked stake and they brought it red and salty.the manager was rude and it seems that he does not welcome people from other countries. I ll never back there again.

The new menu options are awesome. Options for everyone in the family. It is fantastic to see well trained, professional servers that care about their position. Truly a great experience and will be back more often.

Used to go here pretty often but no more brunch, no more happy hour appetizer discount, and the new menu has priced me right out the door. Bummer: (
Update: I can still see your old menu online. Very easy to compare. I'm not an idiot. I can clearly see prices are higher on the new menu.

A wonderful dinner. I shared some of the small plates and everything was great. Even the stuff I don't normally eat. The pork belly and the baked goat cheese were particularly nice.

We were there for dinner and every aspect of our experience was exceptional. They are celebrating their Grand Reopening and the staff and menu were polished to shine. We ordered the whipped ricotta appetizer and filets and NY strip steaks for dinner. All of the sides were delicious and ample. The atmosphere is beautiful and the general manager, Ashely, was remarkably acccommodating and truly dedicated to making sure the entire dining experience was perfect! And the cocktails were also a wonderful detail of the whole experience for us last night!

Pangea is 100% a Missoula staple. Wonderful food, a great atmosphere, and the staff is awesome. Sammy in particular never fails to give me the best customer service experience in town! Him, plus the high quality food and drinks, are the reason Pangea is always my top dining choice in town.

I was disappointed with the new owners of Pangea. I found the menu had pretty much the standard fare and nothing that reflected Montana cuisine. The bar is beautiful and I like the table cloths and new chairs, so high marks for the atmosphere. Please get rid of the awful, heavy plastic to-go boxes. The are a land fill nightmare.

Really conflicted here. We’ve been a few times. Food is pretty decent most of the time.

Service is really bad though. Incredibly long waits. Waiter might wait a half hour between table visits. And this is when the restaurant is only a quarter full.

Most of the time when we’ve gone it’s because other places were busy and Pangea never has a wait to seat you. But the wait is after you order.

Even with the wait I’d give it four stars because the food is good but the prices are just really high for anything other than burgers. Don’t get me wrong, the entrees are good. They just aren’t $37 good.

Would love this place if it was possible to get in and out in under an hour and/or if it was possible to get two meals for less than $75 here.

One of my favorite places to stop while traveling in Missoula!

They have a great atmosphere, set up well for larger groups, their food and drink menu is well thought and has a large variety of options. A bit pricier than some other options, but cost meets the quality of service, food, and drinks.

This is a premium worldly dining experience that is a rare commodity these days. The food was amazing we had the bahn mi and it was the highlight of the night! The cocktails are original and delicious, not to mention the staff was wonderful!

Very busy it was a Friday around 8pm. Sold out of my dinner choice. They were short staffed and everyone was stretched thin so the service we received was fine for the circumstances. Dinner was great though

Great menu with some wonderful choices to be had. A wide drinks menu make this a great place for lunch or dinner.
Had the ribeye steak, and it was cooked to perfection, and was absolutely delicious.
On the main floor it can get noisy.

Excellent food and service! Bartender was very attentive and personable. Food was timely and prepared well. Drinks were excellent!
