My terrier gets groomed at Petco the groomers are so good to my dog he's so excited when he sees where we're going

There was a staff shortage and Max came thru and fit Kacey into his schedule when my specified groomer choice had an emergency. Thank you!

The groomer was attentive to details, made sure to communicate with me afterwards on everything she did. Worked with one dog who didn't like the dryer, the other who didn't like nail grinding! But she still got it all done!

Go to Dee-O-Gee instead for a better experience. Tried multiple times to get in for a simple walk-in nail trim and they weren’t able to see us at all those days.

Tried calling ahead to schedule a nail trim, as you can’t schedule these kinds of appointments online, and was disconnected three times. Tried calling the front desk at Petco to be manually transferred and they wouldn’t transfer me to the grooming department. Disappointing and won’t be returning.

Very friendly, first time our pup had ever been groomed. They were super nice and willing to work with him.

Well, the sign said PET GROOMING so I was happy to find a place for my pet Yum-YUM. All the customers were so nice when we came in the door. They all ran down the isles and out the rear door. We went to the counter to tell them what Yum-Yum's needs were. His teeth needed a good cleaning and a warm bath to scrub all the nasty mud and parasites of his otherwise shiny scales. I told them not to worry because he had just eaten. Two little mini poodles were coming from the store as we arrived and Yum-Yum snagged them both for a quick munch. One more request I asked them to get the little jeweled collar out from between his molars. None of them would come down from atop the counter. They said they didn't have an 8' tub to bathe him in and none of them wanted to work on his teeth. Well, that's a fine hello from a store that has a sign PET GROOMING. Then a loud order came over the intercom " Get out of this store now" We left and we will not come back! Poor Yum Yum shed a tear. Who would think that it's odd to have a 7 1/2 foot monitor lizard for a pet? I have friends who own larger lizards than my Yum-Yum.

The groomer was super friendly, I forget his name! He did so well with her. He had her following him behind the desk before she was even checked in! Whatever he gets paid it's not enough.

Our experience at Petco was exceptional. We'll continue to take Maddie their for her grooming needs.

The grooming staff was extremely friendly and understanding of our dogs special needs. We had a great conversation while dropping off our pup and will definitely be coming back!

My dog was soft and fluffy but she still smelled like wet dog. I’ve gone to other groomers where she’s come out smelling good and it lasting for a couple of weeks. I also asked them to trim her up for the summer and pointed out areas that were way too long, and she came back with maybe 1/2 cm trimmed. She also shed a ton while petting her and had chunks of hair fall out in the house when we got home. Which makes me think they didn’t brush her out afterwards. I’ve had a lot better quality groomings for her at other places, and cheaper too.
