Pink Elephant reviews
7A very nice collection of vintage items. Store very organized. Staff and owner are very nice. If you need vintage Levi’s this is the place to find them. They also pay fairly if you sell your items here. Highly recommend. A great place to find something unique.
Walking into the Pink Elephant one is accosted by the overwhelming scent of mothballs and attic moisture covered by some sort of heavy floral "air freshener". The organization of items in stock appears to be left to the whims of the customer's personal imagination making the entire store, what is referred to by major retailers as "unshoppable". A lot can be forgiven with customer service yet I am sad to report that opportunity was not taken by either of the two employees, one who never took their eyes off their phone. There's no bargains or deals here. Just prices that far exceed the quality of the wares. Stick to more familiar vintage and second hand retailers.
First time in store, evening 9/23/21, was pretty shocked at the blasting profanity coming out of the stores speakers. F@#*. M. F.etc. Hopefully just that one employees poor decision to first, play that In a store were the owner says quote
” shoppers of all sizes and ages will have the opportunity to find styles that will work for them. “ Montoya
I was trying to buy a B-gift for my niece 12yrs of age & had to literally put back item and scurry her out the door. Now I’m having to take the time to write this. Not a store for kids or people that would rather not have the profanity blasted at them. There is plenty of great music similar to what was being played, Pink Elephant’s in need of a playlist facelift. Too bad because some clothes looked decent.
Terrific staff and the best selection of fantastic, current clothing. Such a killer spot, can't recommend them enough:)
Went in to trade some clothes. They gave me a great trade rate and were super polite. The curators of the syore have great tase and there are lots of sizes available.
Super vintage clothing store - so helpful and cool. We landed some rare and awesome vintage jean jackets.
Really professional, well-curated store with reasonable prices for good-quality vintage and a generally pleasant place to hang out and browse around. I got a sweet denim jacket for $40.
The reason I'm leaving a review is because today, after leaving, one of the employees ran after me (literally ran) for an entire block to bring me an earring I had accidentally left in the changing room (I had loud music in my headphones so I didn't hear them trying to get my attention.) I cannot imagine having that kind of dedication working in retail!
In summary: cool place, I hope they pay their workers well, this person deserves a raise.
