American Restaurant PJ's reviews
14The best food in town! Friendly service always. The soup is so amazing! Clam chowder is our favorite ever!
Wow! Got food poisoning from the hot turkey sandwich yesterday. Woke up with horrible stomach cramps, gas, bloating and diarrhea. Oh no, the food didn't taste like fish! They make it to order, ha?
I'm just happy I didn't end up in the ER that night. I've never experienced such stomach pains in my life!
And the staff was really unfriendly. I took a napkin off the booth next to us to wipe down the seat as it was wet and the dark haired waitress says, "oh really! " like I was commenting a crime. What a B _ _ _ _ _!
Chicken Fried steak was amazing! Loved the food. The waitress was struggling very much to get the orders correct and did not offer corrective action but just took it off the bill. She was also blaming everything on the cooks over finding resolutions for the issue. We ordered two chicken fried steak meals, one with double mash - loaded and the other with double fries and a fried egg on the steak. She first tried to bring someone else’s food to us, then brought ours and the double fries was missing half the fries and the egg. I completely understand issues, but there were only four tables with two being single customer and two (including us) being two person tables. There were also two waitresses. Considering how things were, I think it was not unreasonable to expect better service when we have received the best service here with a lot more traffic and still two wait staff.
Hometown dining. Food is good and they have a lot to choose from on the menu. The waitstaff was great and we didn’t have to ask for anything. Thanks PJ’s!
My Amtrak train was about 4 hours late and I was pretty much stuck there in Havre MT. I figured I better get food before. So this place was right across the street, I decided just to go get something small. I sat myself, it wasn't too busy when I went in, but started getting lots of people in. Seemed like everyone knew everyone, waitress was kind and was attentive to me. I just ordered a grilled cheese, tasted like it was HOME made, sometimes you can tell that some places try to hard to make it gourmet, but not here, it was like my mom made it. I got a sandwich, side and a drink for less than $12. I don't think I'll ever make it that north again, but if you are just passing by and need to eat. I recommend PJ'S.
I ordered a sandwich here while my train was stopped, but had to leave before getting my food. Right as I'm sitting down, the conductor announces that a bartender ran to the train and delivered a sandwich right as doors were closing. Needless to say, I was delighted.
They're the closest restaurant to the Havre station, and absolutely deserve to be.
The breakfast was good. The eggs Benedict came with generous portions of ham. The waitress was prompt and friendly to everyone
It was very very cold in the restaurant. The air conditioning was set on too cold for the outside
Our group of 8 people loved the food and friendly staff. Everything was very tasty and reasonably priced. Staff was friendly and attentive. Would definitely eat there again if we're in the area.
Its a nice place, friendly staff, good food, and good prices. The menu has alot of sandwiches.
This place is a little out dated for me but could be the perfect date for somone else. Parking is a little tight.
PJs never disappoints whether it's a call in order or we go in and eat. The staff is always friendly and the food is always good!
Waitress was attentive we were the only guests. She quickly took our order to the cook who came out to see who ordered.why? Our order was undercooked we ate what was good an left. If guests didnt hang out in the kitchen w staff maybe he could produce better food.
Gave it another try and both of us got very sick would not recommend eating here
Dropped in for lunch. Great service. Ordered 3, two piece chicken strips and fries. Just the right size for kids and older adults. I had a chicken fried steak with hash browns, corn and a roll. It was delicious and a good serving. Recommended for someone to try. Been decades since I had that. Will certainly order it again next time through.
