8/2/23:
Things are starting to be addressed! Thankfully there is some new blood in the office and I am encouraged to see where things will go in the future. I will continue to update my review in the months to come.
7/28/23:
I have been a tenant through this rental agency for about 6 months now and wanted to wait to write a review till I had some time with them and I’m glad I did. It’s not all bad! But it’s definitely not the best I’ve ever been with. At the beginning it was amazing! The staff was very kind and incredibly accommodating. But once we were moved in it wasn’t all rainbows and butterflies. Once we were moved in they continuously asked us to write a review because that is their only was of advertising. And I’m more than happy to write a review, good or bad, but it’s hard to get a truly accurate review based on just the move in process. I pride myself on always being a good tenant and so does my roommate. We have nothing but glowing recommendations from our previous landlords and we like to treat where we live like a home. Without writing a full novel, I’ll give you the highlights so far. And who knows, maybe I’ll update it again in the future!
1. Once you’re in they (Jorilyn) don’t treat you nearly as kindly.
2. Their maintenance man is great! One of these stars is for him!
3. Anytime I’ve called since moved in, specifically with Jorilyn, she speaks as though I’m annoying her or wasting her time. Heather is good to speak to!
4. They don’t seem to have it as together as a rental company should. I understand that we are all human and make mistakes but once it becomes a regular occurrence it starts to make me anxious and I start to wonder if I'm in good hands.
5. As I stated previously, I take pride in my home and try to keep it looking nice. Inside and out. But apparently they will be very quick to charge you a fee if you miss a couple weeds when you’re weed-eating, and you miss a corner of the grass when you water it.
Unfortunately there are very few rental options in the valley at the moment which we are all far too aware of, so it’s hard for anyone to get a rental these days. I do feel blessed to have found a place to live, I only wish that the some of the staff at real property management sapphire was not so abrasive and rude. Especially to the tenants who are not the ones trashing their rentals.

Real property Management Sapphire is a wonderful place to do business with. I personally rent from them. And they are always on it every time I have any type of issue.

Having troubles in the Valley finding a rental? Check these guys out, they have been easy to deal with and quick to solve problems! Very friendly staff that takes pride in the property you are renting. Would recommend to friends and family looking for rentals in the Bitterroot valley.

Only out to steal your money. I put in an application for a rental with sapphire back in Feb. Of this year. They were real quick to take my application fee. I waited 2 weeks and never heard anything from them. I finally called and asked what was going on. The office girl would only say, "we have a lot of interest in the property and a lot of applications to go through", meaning they were just adding up the 35 dollar application fees and collecting as many as possible. A week later I called again asking what's going on. Got the same answer as before. I told the girl I was more than qualified if not over qualified to rent the home. She told me I would have to talk to her office manager but she went home early. A week and a half later I finally got an email from the office manager Jorilyn stating the owners of the property were taking it off the market with no offer of giving back my app fee. Two weeks ago I called Jorilyn and asked her to move my application to another rental listing they offered. She said she would and I asked if I could go look at the property. She stated since she's never looked at my application, that they've had for 3 months now along with my money, that I was not allowed to look at the property. Its been two weeks and I just noticed the property is no longer for rent. So they rented it to someone else and never even contacted me. Also the original property I tried to rent is back on the market for a couple weeks now and they never called to see if I was still interested or not. Good thing I'm more than approved with two other property management companies that call me with every new listing they have and ask if im interested. Moral of the story, jorilyn is a b.and waste of oxygen and sapphire is just out to steal as many application fees as they can and never contact you! Stay away from them.

Over time (several years), service continued to erode to include unreturned calls, missed invoices, and incomplete property maintenance that eventually affected sale concessions. At one point, the owner gave out my private cell phone number to a prospective customer, despite being asked to wait until I got back to them while I thought about it. I would not recommend.

Working with Real Property Mgmt Sapphire has been a stellar experience from the start. Initially, I was pleased to quickly receive a return call from upper management who was polite and realistic when discussing possibilities. The on-the-ground property manager has been on top of everything and communicates quickly and effectively. They fostered a short-term rental relationship into a long term one, while still looking out for my interests as well. I'm very satisfied with my experience and am considering moving some other assets to this area because I know they will be attended to as I would.

Real Property Management definitely took a chance on me as a tenant without a ton of rental history. I loved the apartment that I rented from them and they were nothing but great to work with on any maintenance issues on my apartment, lease renewals, moving out and providing a reference for getting a new place.

Only reason I stopped renting from them was I took a new job in Missoula, and while I debated making the commute on 93 from Hamilton everyday, I ultimately decided to move. While rental properties are definitely in short supply in the Bitterroot, if you have your choice of property management company to rent from, definitely choose them!

What a great experience! From the point of application, it was nothing but a pleasure to work with Jorilyn at RPM Sapphire. She showed so much care for our family and went above and beyond in every aspect. Not only was she super easy to communicate with but she made the process fun! So happy to be in our new home thanks to JoriLyn and RPM

Initially in 2018, when Jennifer Chavez worked there, they were good. Then she left, and their service was awful. In fact, they repeatedly lied to me when asked about it situation (contract rental) jory-Lynn and rob child and the owner of three rental told us that they were selling the rental. They never did. As a veteran going through HUDVASH Jory-Lynn tried to redact thedocuments from the human resource counciland the state of Montana. Needless to say they are now blacklisted. Probably the best thing to happen though, the va had found my family a much better place.with no drama, or lies! BTW I had been renting from them for 3 years at the time. If you are a veteran, save Yourself the time and stress. There are too many fast better property management agencies.

Jorilyn was very efficient and thorough. She managed our rental transaction professionally and in a timely manner despite being very busy. I would definitely recommend RPM.

Finding a single family home to rent was so easy because we found Real Property Management Sapphire and Jorilyn Simon. Jorilyn knew exactly what we wanted and guided us through every step to make sure it happened. This woman is professional, considerate, efficient, respectful and a delight to work with. She works many hard hours to make sure we were satisfied. Best of all her knowledge of the ins and outs of applications and contracts is remarkable because there was no stone unturned with all her information and our questions. If we ever decide to move again, there is no doubt we will go with Real Property Management and Jorilyn. And, she has a great sense of humor which put us at ease instantly. Good woman, good business.
