Kyle is the real deal - great communicator, knowledgeable, and a fun guide. I organized a trip for 9 people total with different levels of fly fishing experience. Everyone in the group had a great time. I’ll definitely book another tip with Kyle in the future.

Kyle runs a first-class fly-fishing operation. We enjoyed the Blackfoot River, Bitterroot River and Clark Fork River. I will be fly-fishing with him every summer when we visit Big Sky Country. He and his second in command Bobby provide expertise guidance, guaranteed to put you on big fish! We even caught some monster pike on the slews of the Clark Fork this time and some nice rainbow trout and cutthroat on the other rivers. This was my daughter's first trip and she LOVED it! Kyle was patient, kind and an amazing guide that she is asking when we will book again. My two sons had Bobby and have been fly-fishing for years, but Bobby showed those boys a thing or two and we ended up with some of the best eats and biggest fish we have seen in a long while. I highly recommend this outfit for your next adventure in Missoula.

Kyle was amazing! He does a great job of finding and knowing all the best spots. My mom and I went together and she has quite a bit of experience with fly fishing and I have a little. He balanced our experience levels well and is also just a great person to be in a boat with for multiple hours. I have gone with him twice and my mom has gone with him to many times to count. Highly recommend using him!

We found Kyle to be very personable and extremely knowledgeable during our expertly guided float. He introduced us to a hybrid fly-fishing technique (with patience and direction) while accurately navigating to spots ensuring our successful experience of trout-fishing on the beautiful Clark Fork river. Bring some snacks if only fishing for the half-day (which I considered to be a generous timeline), but lunch is provided if for a full day.
The shuttle service he uses between the put-in & take-out meant more time on the water and less time on the pavement.

Absolutely epic day fly fishing on the Blackfoot River with Kyle and two of his other guides. We had two families with kids ages 6-12 and the guides were all amazing with teaching each of them with the utmost patience’s. Everyone caught multiple variety of trout. Kyle took my husband and I out this summer. Neither of us have had much, if any, experience fly fishing. Kyle was an amazing guide!
