Sportsman & Ski Haus, Kalispell MT

The staff went above and beyond for me and I really appreciate it. Both the rental shops in Whitefish and Kalispell were very accomidating. Also had some great sales going on. Nice stores with very nice products.

Great selection of clothing and equipment, however the customer service needs work. I believe it’s the clothing manager, she is snippy, standoffish and doesn’t seem like she’s very willing to help you with anything. In fact whenever I’m in there and I ask a question it comes off like an inconvenience. The young girls at the counter are more interested in chatting with eachother than helping customers. On a $400 sale of mine and my boyfriends they didn’t even offer us a bag before they went back to their own private conversation. They forgot to remove the security tags twice. And today when he was trying to check out there were 4 of them behind one counter laughing and having a conversation when he was trying to check out. Not the first time it’s happened to us either. Would love to see a little bit more professionalism with such an important store in our community.

Bought a Kimber rifle from Travis in the gun dept over the phone, and had it shipped to my FFL here in Florida. The Transaction couldn’t have been any smoother. They did a great job of packing the rifle, and it arrived 2 days earlier than the expected delivery date. Thanks Travis and Sportsman Ski Haus!

Growing up in the valley, I always thought of the sportsman as a store full of wonderful toys.that I could not even think about affording. And I've carried that thought into adulthood. So I was pleasantly surprised today to go in just looking for some binding screws, and find an incredible selection of snow gear at all price ranges. Sure, you'll find $500 snow pants. But you'll also find a selection at $50 to $75. Pleasantly surprised to see them catering to multiple budget ranges.
Also, the guys at the ski shop are super friendly and helpful, even to an old guy like me. Thanks guys.

My son's recently purchased snowboard boot's laces broke.
He took it in to purchase the BOA laces and Jan offered to re-thread them for him. She realized that the boot's were defective and didn't allow the laces to be re-threaded, this after a long time trying. The stores in Kalispell and Whitefish did not have a replacement in stock so she called another unrelated store and found the same model boots in his size. She had the store put them on hold for him and refunded my son"s money so he could purchase them the next day on his way to the mountain. I've always appreciated Sportsman's customer service, having shopped here since 1997. They continue to earn my loyalty! I'm grateful this business and the people who work there are apart of our community, thank you!

Just went in to look for ice skates. Not only did I find some that fit me, The gentleman working heat moulded them for me! Always such great customer service

I find these guys to be over priced on many items compared to their close competitors. That being said, I saw a kayak I've had my eye on for a lower price than elsewhere. I just wish I was set up to buy it that visit.

They seem to have a wide selection of a lot of items, but seem to lack less common sporting/camping items, therefore, you'd still have to go elsewhere.

Overall, a nice store. I would return.

Outstanding service in the shoe department! Robin was awesome! Very personable and pleasant to visit with. We bought a pair of Merrell hiking boots AND got some info on good places to eat. Thanks Robin!

Don’t go to mens shoes, they talk with their friends instead of helping customers! Bad bad service!

Paid for item with Debit Card as cash transaction, returned item 30 minutes later because it was wrong item, then was refunded as a credit with a hold for 4 days. Then they blame my bank for their error while their bank draws interest on my $449.00 over the Memorial weekend. Bad business for anyone. Do go elsewhere.

I wanted to go ahead and revise my original review. I was feeling pretty frustrated with some negative experiences that I have had at this specific store. Paul, who is a manager reached out to me and gave me a chance to explain what had happened that made me write my original review. He was very understanding and made me feel better about the whole deal. My wife and I both appreciated it and understand that mistakes do happen. I do believe that they are trying hard to make sure that everyone has the most positive experience possible at their stores. Thanks again.

Horrible experience renting skis for an advanced skier. Awful service from Matt in the rental department. Never rent here again.

This store has almost everything you could want for your next adventure whether it is skiing, hiking, camping, or just looking for the perfect workout outfit. There are so many options for clothing it is almost overwhelming, but they are very expensive. This time of year (March) their coats and outdoor gear are 15% off but still are at the top of the price range for the area.

Fun place to shop, but be prepared to spend some money.

I bought a jacket that ended up having a faulty zipper. With one quick and easy transaction, they exchanged the jacket. I'm so glad because I really like this one!
