Standing Stones B & B, Condon MT

Interesting property - very large room but basically on the second floor of a barn. Good views. Interesting to walk around and see the eclectic set of huge boulders that the owner had brought in. Great Breakfast - very friendly hostess. Not fancy but clean.

I am sure I would have enjoyed my stay here but unfortunately the owners did not honor the booking I made one year in advance. They double booked my room and gave preference to the photographers workshop group which was booked much later. I confirmed my reservation in January without realizing at the time I was emailing with someone at the photographers formulary who was an assistant to the innkeeper, not the legal owner. When I again confirmed I needed the room a few days prior, I was effectively told they had double booked, and they would assist in finding alternative accommodation. Well, of course, such alternative accommodation at the same price would be hard to find in the same area with a few days notice. And, the innkeeper delegated this task to the person at the photographers formulary, who, naturally, was not looking after my interests. This business relationship is a clear conflict of interest in my opinion. Both of them appeared to be passing the buck to the other. I find it completely unacceptable and it caused me a huge amount of stress to change my plans at short notice.

Great bed and breakfast. We've had friends and relatives stay there.
Also put on black and white photography workshops through their Formulary business.
