Star Nails and Spa, Bozeman MT

I've been here about 7 times when I'm in a pinch. On the bright side they always get me in immediately. Unfortunately I always end up paying too much ($40 for removal? Come on.), have lopsided and inconsistent nail shapes, and the techs never listen to me and I end up unhappy at the end.

John gave me a beautiful and flashy set of acrylic this afternoon. My first set and I love them. My daughter got a manicure which is also beautiful. Highly recommend.

I come here often for pedicures usually which are very very good. Today I came in having a spa day for myself and boy was that a mistake. The mid tier pedicure was less than 30 minutes, she was rushing through the entire thing and giving me straight attitude the whole time. Getting loud and looking around at other customers explaining she knew how to do her job when I asked her a simple question… I’ve never had a problem with this salon it was my favorite in Bozeman but I’m not sure I’ll be returning after this experience. I used to recommend this place to everyone and that won’t be the case anymore. I should’ve walked out. The other comments about them being passive aggressive is too true

I love this nail salon. Go see Cindy! She's funny, great to talk to, and she does a great job! I'm never disappointed when I see her.

Mac was amazing! He showed so much attention to detail, and I absolutely loved my manicure. Probably one of the best I’ve ever had. I highly recommend stopping in if you’re in Bozeman.

Very good service but very high price. My basic pedicure for 15 min cost $40 with $10 tip works out to $200/hr. Wow, far more than I make as a pastor!

I’ve been to this place for pedicures many times. Today I received a 25 minute pedicure. I was with two friends who both received over an hour long service, and had been charged less than me. Really sad because I’ve enjoyed this place for years. When asked how long pedicures typically are they said “we don’t have a time. ” I sat there longer after my appointment waiting for my friends than I actually received my service for. Tried to call and haven’t received any response. Very disappointed and won’t be returning.

Staff was very passive aggressive minus the guy who started my mani off. My friend and I spent two and a half hours in the shop and 175 dollars just to leave with lumpy and poorly painted/designed nails. I have had my set on for two days and the tip has already snapped off my pointer finger, after I barely applied pressure putting on my shoes. I absolutely loved them the first time I went in but now I will not be recommending Star to my friends or family.

I got my nails done here just a few days ago, the women who did my nails was very passive aggressive and my nails are all different shapes, my nails were $85 even though i only got medium length- almond shaped nails with a solid top coat and paint on the bottom, no designs.nails are very lumpy and most are extremely crooked. I was told not to look at my nails while she was doing them. My friend and I sat in this shop for over 2 hours to end up with very poor nails, my friends tip of her nail has already snapped off after only having them for two days. Would highly not recommend getting your nails done here.

Such a fantastic experience, the staff is so friendly and do a great job. I’ll be a returning customer:)
