Sundowner Inn Forsyth

We stay in several hotels over a years time, I felt the rooms are a bit high. The breakfast wasn't that great.

Is an older place it could use some updates but the overall experience was awesome the staff was great very helpful and friendly the patio was good it has ah propane grill ready to be use but you do have to be quite or cut it off by 10pm

I bypass all the hotels in Billings to stay here every year. Always clean and quiet and really like the in-room microwave, refrigerator and coffee/tea maker. Always get great sleep in the comfortable beds. Just enough breakfast to get me down the road. Will stay here as long as I come to Montana.

Great people run this inn. Nice breakfast too. Bbq grill available too.will be back for sure

It's not a new motel, but it was very clean, and the staff were all friendly and helpful.
I would definitely stay here again!

I love how the outside patio areas, outdoor seating areas, and the grilling area all have a "must sit/be outside and enjoy Forsythe" vibe to it. The ONLY wonderful thing about this motel along the interstate (&soft pillow top mattresses, if that's your thing). All rooms offer beds with really soft pillow-like mattress tops. Makes the bed too soft! With every little move felt throughout the whole bed. Sleep for myself sucked, having to wake up and toss and turn, softness overload. Unlike my partner, he slept like a baby. If you prefer overly soft pillow-top like mattresses, this motel is for you! The next morning's, continental breakfast consists of older fruit (not fresh), toast with frozen butters for spread, and asked-for-like-a-child gallon milk everybody shares. All while listening to the front desk woman moan and groan and sigh with every move she makes making it VERRRRY uncomfortable and with the feeling of needing to flee the room as soon as shes done making another batch of coffee since it was empty when we arrived there. Unless that's the reason for all the uncalled for noises (HOW RUDE!) that sound inappropriate for a motel's lobby area. OVERALL 2 STARS for partner's sleep.

Older Motel. Perty strong smoke smell in room. Super clean, nice room.on the go breakfast. Would stay there again.

Rooms were outdated outside trees were nice. Check in guy was nice and informative.it works for a quick night sleep but Beds are not very comfy. I would definitely not stay here again tho if I had other options

Forsyth doesn’t have much to offer so it’s a bit of a surprise that the room rates here are over $100. They have basic rooms with a microwave and refrigerator. They are clean and they have a continental breakfast.

Probably a 2.5 star.
The windows don't open, $120 bucks a night, and nothing fancy. I didn't have time to use the shower after breakfast which made me wish I saved my money and slept in my car.
Friendly people none the less.
Just pricey and you can't get fresh air without opening the door and no privacy.
+Dogs are allowed. $15 extra

Friendly staff, rooms were nice and decent priced. And if you’re traveling late at night they’ll be able to give you a room.

This is a great place to stay! It's very clean, comfy beds & friendly management.

We always stay here when we travel thru Montana. Great people always nice. Rooms are always clean and comfortable. I always tell people to stop there. And to go across the street to Top That for food.

The Sundowner Inn had a last minute room for us that met our needs when most places in nearby Glendive and Miles City were booked. It was clean, cute, comfortable and had excellent water pressure. The employees and/or owners were super friendly and helpful. There was complimentary breakfast in the morning. We would for sure stay again if we are driving through.
