The Coop at Mountainside, Whitefish MT

Wow! Just. WOW! If peace and quiet is what you're searching for, look no more! These cozy little cottages are perfect for getting away from it all. They're BRAND new built! The breakfast that comes with it is nothing short of amazing as well! They go above and beyond with their service and they work very hard to keep low-zero carbon footprint! My wife and I stayed for 3 nights and loved it. Loved it so much I'll be back in a month!

What a gem in the forest! We had so much fun on our two night stay for my birthday staycation. Everything from the personal touches in the room, to the pretty drive up, to the delicious breakfast in bed, we had a blast! We can’t wait to tell all our friends and family to stay here also!

We recently stayed here, and it was the cutest and had the most aesthetic rooms, service and location I've even been to.
I forgot to take pictures of the inside, but I did get a picture of the breakfast that you get to decide from four options and served it to you the next morning in a basket.
They have a couple fire pits to sit by and during the winter months, it is a perfect place to snuggle up and relax.
Overall, my experience was amazing and I would definitely go back!

If you are looking for a fantastic off-grid, but modern stay then look no further. Run by down-to-earth, good folks The Coop at Mountainside was a fantastic place to vacation. Based on a stroll around the immaculate property, it also seems like an amazing venue for a wedding. As a military member, I can also appreciate the support the owners show. They are gracious enough to give away a free wedding, once a year, to a military couple. If that doesn't tell you all you need to know then I am not sure what will. Overall, my wife and I had a fantastic time. Highly recommend!

Had a lovely 5 day stay at the Coop, the room was clean, comfortable and was equipped with everything we could possibly need for a short stay in Montana. The views outside are beautiful and the room itself on the inside is nicely decorated, a lot of attention to detail. The only downside was that it's in a secluded area and it's not near any stores/shopping centers, but they make up for that by providing breakfast every day, which was delicious and they provide options. Also the nearest town Whitefish is minutes away. Great service and all in all, we'd definitely stay here again.

Located on the outskirts of Whitefish, Montana the idyllic Mountainside Coop rests nestled by some mountains I don’t know the name of (and don’t really care because this was gorgeous). You’re instantly transported to a woodland getaway that feels like you’re home away from home and looks like a 5 star resort. You’re greeted by friendly staff zooming on carts and ushering folks to and from the lodging. Step into your cozy room at The Coop (aptly named for the roosters milling about) and settle into a lush queen bed with a note welcoming your party. Need a quick pick-me-up coffee? A Keurig and a V60 porcelain pourover (with a Fellow kettle, I might add) stand ready to serve a fresh brew! This room may be small, but it is mighty! I had the pleasure of staying in the Orpington and was delighted to find a state-of-the-art hairdryer waiting outside the shower! The fridge is stocked with mountainside water, perfect cream, and fresh OJ. What more could you possibly need? ! Yes, this is the longest review I’ve written (coming from an amateur book reviewer) but it’s worth it! Remote location and smallish room was more than made up for by stylish decorating, intelligent furnishings, excellent healthy breakfasts, cleanliness, friendly staff, and relaxing grounds with hammock, fire tables and picnic tables.

If you like feeling like you’re in the woods with all the comforts of home, this is the place for you! The rooms are cozy and well-decorated, and the little kitchenette had everything I needed. I especially enjoyed the landscaping and outdoor seating areas. Everyone on the staff was kind and helpful. I’ll definitely be back!

We are on a three month road trip from Australia and spent days 34 and 35 here. The Coop is understated quality and elegance. The room though small was perfect.
The quality of everything is hard to describe - from the choices of pod or drip coffee the beautiful toiletries, the breakfast baskets that would make a chef proud to the quality of cutlery, crockery and appliances, including a toaster.
Clearly the best accommodation we have had or are likely to have.
A real credit to the owners who operate it themselves.

The Coop was amazing. It's a remote mountainous surrounding with really great breakfast. The rooms are small, but well equipped with everything. It's a bit far from Glacier NP, but the hotel and its location makes up for everything

A bit of a hike out of town, but well worth it for the service, comfort, and scenery. Easy to find and get to. Beautiful decor and landscaping.

We gave The Coop 5 stars because 6 wasn't available. We have been traveling for nearly 3 years, we've had 100s of hotels, B&Bs, etc, none better than The Coop.

PERFECT! Rooms and scenery is beautiful! Very highly recommended to stay there! I will be going back to stay there! Absolutely beautiful! Host was fantastic and very helpful!

We stayed here for 2 nights last week on our way to Canada. Such a cozy place! We absolutely loved it and will be back again. The drive is a bit out of town but so peaceful and worth it!

My stay at the Coop was absolutely amazing. Peaceful location. Easy parking. Beautiful landscaping. Many seating areas including 2 separate fire pits. I had breakfast on the porch each morning. Hummingbirds visited me while I ate! A breakfast basket was delivered to my door each morning at 9am. And talk about delicious! I had avocado toast with sprouts and tomatoes, fresh fruit and a surprise muffin! OJ and milk in the room. The kitchenette had everything I needed including coffee and tea.
The bed had so many pillows and was super comfy.
The room was elegant and cozy. The pictures do not do it justice.
I appreciate all of the little personal touches in the room and on the property.
I lived in hotels for 5+ years and this is definitely my favorite!
