The Garrison Inn, Kalispell MT

My wife and I just spent my 51st at The Garrison Inn with the fantastic hosts Gene, Anne Marie and the inquisitive and cheeky dogs Willow and Juno.

We had the perfect stay at the Inn with Gene's lovingly prepared meals and Sous Chef / hostess extraordinaire Anne Marie's attention to us ensuring we had what we needed.

The beautiful Canadian timbers, the natural light in the lounge and the warmth of the fireplace ensured some great relaxation time. Our bedroom was comfortable and had the perfect view of the forests and Glacier NP in the background. Everything was clean and fresh and we had all that we needed.

The Inn is located at the end of a quiet road just outside Kalispell with about. 5 mile of unpaved road leading to the entrance. Not a big deal for cars or hire cars. The location is extremely quiet and so peaceful. The Inn is perfectly placed to get access to Kalispell & Flathead Lake as is not far from Whitefish and the Glacier NP.

The dogs Willow and Juno are very friendly and will give you a welcoming hug at first so if you are edgy around dogs just mention this before your arrival. My wife has slight pet allergies so we kept these two in the lounge area and all was fine.

We'd stay again if we ever return to this gorgeous part of the U. S.

We truly enjoyed our overnight stay at the Garrison Inn. The owners opened their home/life to us, and provided a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Gene is a great chef! He has a great dinner menu and will customize to meet your requests as able ~~ Breakfast was outstanding with homemade jam too! Highly recommend!

Gene and Anne Marie were wonderful hosts. Gene is a chef who cooked individual dinners and breakfasts for everyone there. The quiet room was well appointed with everything needed. And then, the view which was amazing. Wish we could have stayed longer but had to catch a plane home. Airport was an easy 30 min.ride from the Garrison Inn.

We loved spending our Anniversary at The Garrison Inn, this is our number one place to stay at in the Flathead. Wonderful, warm and charming host, spectacular views, food was FANTASTIC.

Amazingly friendly hosts, incredible views, and a great breakfast! The location was close enough to Kalispell to head to the rodeo when it was in town, but set out far enough to feel serene. Views were unbeatable!

The rooms were very comfortable, and it was great having a private bathroom. The dogs are very friendly - we loved them!

Would definitely stay again - hopefully for longer next time!

The Garrison Inn Was an amazing stop on our way to Glacier National Park from the Teton and Yellowstone. The accommodations are super clean, the Garrison family is so welcoming and the view from the deck is gorgeous! Chef cooked amazing, relaxed, breakfasts and an incredible dinner from local sources. Highly recommended place to stay!
