Best Burgers in Helena HANDS DOWN! And a special shout out to Nate.our amazing and phenomenal bar tender!

This was a quirky bar for me. You sit at a very cool old school wrap around bar and feel an awesome cowboy vibe, but behind you is the “old salt” burger kiosk slinging fast food. On the other side, behind the bar, is a room with casino a lot machines. One the other side is a pool table. At the bar, a few locals were drinking and swearing up a storm even though there was a table with a family sitting right behind them eating their burger from the Old Salt! It just was a bit awkward for me. I did like my beer and the bartender was nice. No wine for you though if you want that, or at least none my wife would drink.

Great place for food, fun and games. Seems a bit more paid back than other places on the strip. We went back a couple of times.

Been here several times but it seems that it lost appeal when my sister passed away last year! Miss u Sister"babs" Hayes! Gave 5 stars cuz I have been here lots and it was freaking fun.

Update: I've had nothing but positive experiences with most of the staff. Sunday and Wednesday nights are best. The downside is that management has a tendency to drink there also, and regulars have to tip toe around the management's mood. Feels more like a modern tavern than the dive bar status it had. It's also the most inclusive bar in town. You can tell the difference between employees who care, and management. Can someone who actually cares buy it?

Met friends for dinner, had a great burger and a couple cocktails. Ordered an old fashion and told the bartender to surprise me on the selection of burbon and he did! It was really good.

I’m new to MT, visiting Helena for the weekend. Had a BLAST here. My partner and I stayed in the western bar half, and omg! Delicious drinks and majestic vibes. Very inclusive atmosphere, cool bartenders and super attentive. The restrooms were very clean which is def important. Couldn’t ask for more. Thanks for a beautiful evening

Sarah needs a raise. Got me an Uber home and was the best bartender I’ve had in Montana. Good bar is 10/10
