The Mother Lode Theatre, Butte MT

This is a well maintained old theater. Small stage, every seat is good. (Please for the love of God turn the heat down.) We were extremely hot during the performance, but for a small town production of the nutcracker, we were satisfied.

Went to the Motherload tonight to see the show Matilda that was put on from the Orphan Girl Children's Theatre and the show was fantastic the mother load theater and Orphan Girl Children's Theatre put on an amazing show those kids and the adults did an amazing job. I cant wait to see the next show from the Orphan Girl Children's Theatre at the motherload

Went to the Cinderella ballet last week and the dancers were fantastic. We arrived at 645 for a 700 show and did not get in until 715. The ballet was already half way through the first act. There were no ushers helping people find seats which created a chaotic scene with people running around throughout the first scene. Most of the people in attendance were talking throughout the show. Seemed like the ballet was being performed at a Chucky Cheese. The theater was beautiful and I would love to go to another event there as long as these issues get rectified.

Having visited the Mother Lode Theater in Butte, I can confidently say it's an absolute gem in the heart of Montana. Saw the live version of Whose Line and it was a great place to see a live performance small and somewhat cozy but still large enough to have a great audience.

The place is a complete joke. When you go to buy tickets and type in the number you want they give you random seats. All should be general admission.

We attended the season finale of the Butte Symphony at the Mother Lode Theatre. It was a great concert in a very beautiful facility. The theater is well maintained and well worth the experience.

Broadway size theater, built in the Art Deco style. Lovingly refurbished in the 80's. Balcony and mezzanine seating available as well. Community Performances, Symphony Concerts, and Touring Shows tickets are available individually, and in Series. Concessions and limited alcohol available.
