The Saddle Exchange, Kalispell MT

Store is too full to comfortably shop, unfortunately. Forget looking at the saddles, they're stacked 4 high with no place to move them. Would love to be able to browse things more easily.

I’ve shopped (and sold) at The Saddle Exchange for many years. Heidi is very nice and professional and is willing to go the extra mile to help a customer. The store is currently packed, there is something for everyone/every horse.

Great tack shop serving the Flathead Valley. The owner Heidi is so friendly and extremely helpful. I bought several items here and I appreciate the variety of price points for both new and used tack and supplies including for English (hunters/ jumpers/ eventing/ dressage), as well as western. I even bought a pair of zip paddock boots that seemed a bit wide at the ankle. Heidi knew I had a riding lesson coming up so she offered to let me take them and buy them back from me when a lace pair she ordered for me came in.

I’m also new to the horse world in the Flathead Valley and Heidi has been great at recommending local resources for everything from trainers and boarding facilities to horse trailer maintenance shops and more. I’m so glad I discovered the Saddle Exchange.

Sad it doesn’t quite look like the images. Made a good trip into town to check this little place out and was disappointed with the prices. The lady there was very friendly and kind, but the shop was packed wall to wall with stuff. A little sketchy to walk through it was so full. Everything in there was priced as if it were brand new. Some of it is brand new but most of it is used, especially the saddles.
If the prices on everything were negotiable then it might be a different story.

Not a horseback riding service however she was extremely helpful in helping point us in the direction of horseback riding. Wonderful woman and her horse tack is very nice.

We’ve taken stuff there to sell since I was little and had a great outcome! It’s always my go to place to by anything horse wise and the employees are amazing
