The Village Health & Rehabilitation, Missoula MT

Only put your loved ones here if you hate them. I've spent many hours at this hellish place (not a resident). The laborers there are absolutely horrible people that treat the elderly in an awful manner. The laborers (CNAs, kitchen staff etc) are so rude to these defenseless elders. I feel like they constantly take advantage of the residents of VHCC by tricking them/neglecting them so their work becomes easier. The level of neglect I've seen is astonishing and very sad. I saw a CNA yell at someone who was asking for help to shut up. My grandpa once stayed here and one day we noticed that he had a really bad black eye, they said he fell, but we think that he was punched in the eye by one of these awful laborers. I'll tell you this now, they have poorly educated teenagers and barely literate CNAs responsible for the care of your loved ones. If I were you, I would strongly consider a different facility because these people are unfit to care for anything and I guarantee that your loved one will live a horrible life here.

Beware of the Executive Director’s and Social Services Director’s lack of integrity if they try to lure you into having your loved one live or work at The Village Health and Rehabilitation. Residents and new admits frequently complain that they "don't care about me here. " This sentiment is sadly evident in many ways, too numerous to list here. If you have no other choice but to do business with The Village Health and Rehabilitation, please be cautious and verify everything they say.

I am a former employee, and this place is a mess! I would give it zero stars if that were an option. The Executive Director has no idea what she's doing running this place and is completely delusional and incompetent. She has a very bizarre, withdrawn personality with zero people skills or communication and looks overwhelmed every time you see her - it's rare to see her smile. She turns her head and pushes all work off on others instead of dealing with things directly. Her office is the most disorganized mess I've ever seen in my life from an executive - piles of stuff spread out everywhere, with absolutely no rhyme or reason - just chaos! Unfortunately, this bottom shelf leadership flows into all other aspects of the facility. I would never want anybody I care about to live here nor should you.

It's really sad as this used to be a lovely, clean, well-ran, top-notch facility and employees were proud to work there and residents were equally proud to live there. Now it feels like an absolute, depressing mess. It’s so sad that The Goodman Group has allowed this to happen and such poor leadership to continue so long.
