Thomas Meagher Bar reviews
24 Service was horribly slow. Server was nice, just took forever to get drinks, refills, and all of our order out together/correct. One girl with us ordered a drink at seating and didn’t get it until 1/2 way thru our dining. The server apologized and said she’d forgotten. That girl had also ordered a dinner meal & was served the lunch size. To correct this they brought out a few more pieces of what she had.
I ran out of my drink more than once and wasn’t asked if I wanted more when the server walked by. I had to flag the server down to ask. Like I said, nice but SLOW. I asked if it was possible to order a chicken breast burger and if not I’d order something else, no problem. She said I could. I was served a fried chicken strip burger. It was so DRY. We’ve been here other times last year for concert nights & it was a lot better! I was bummed out with this experience.
Great place to eat or grab drinks and appetizers downtown.
Irish Poutine is amazing, the nachos are also a guilty pleasure.
Friendly staff and a clean place.
Used to get carry out food, but last time I not only had to walk the full length of the place to pick up my carryout (COVID), but the food was over cooked and dry.
Thomas Meagher Bar, because you can’t pronounce that last name properly. Or maybe you can? Either way, this is a great joint for Lobster Mac & Cheese, excellent sandwiches and other fine fare. The service has always been quick and courteous. Yeah, this means I’ve eaten here a few times and will again. It’s THAT good!
Food was fantastic, like always. Service was great as well. Will definitely be going back. Only bad thing is the city forcing them to close early. Infringement of their rights, and over reach. Please remember when the city council runs for re-election.
Service was great. My friend's mashed potatoes were served cold; obviously not made that day, or even heated up.
Tried again today. (8/28/18). Salad was missing key ingredient (cherry free cherry salad). Waitress was kind and got me some to add myself. Lose the corn nuts; gas station food belongs at the gas station.
I LOVE the plentiful macaroni and cheese options! I never grew up and I just love the variety. I especially love the lobster mac!
This place always seems be busy. Probably because they are just so good!
Don't come in here unless you like watching other people get waited in while you watch. We were sitting in the middle of the bar and never got a glimpse from their staff.
This place is always a go to for me. I'm pretty sure they just updated their food and drink menus which I like because it shows an establishment always seeks positive change. Definitely bring your dog in the summer time to enjoy a good drink outside with your best friend.
Great bar for watching sports, drinking mules or ceasars and eating Irish bar food. A must-visit in Missoula.
I've been wanting Mac n Cheese and was pointed here by multiple friends. They were worried they had kept me waiting tooong, but had just sat down. The Mac n Cheese hit the spot and then some! Service, food, nice outdoor spot- I do recommend.
This was a Pearl Jam fan event, so the place was at capacity, service was fabulous, super friendly, great time
Placed downtown Missoula meagher bar has a great location. 6 of us eat lunch and all the meals had little to no flavor
The service isn't amazing but it's okay, and the food is pretty good. Plus they have trivia and bingo on the week nights.
Typical pub fare and sweet mixed drinks with tons of students around. Lots of space and comfy booths
The worsted please of Missoula Mt everyone who works should move to Scottsdale Arizona they all will fit in there. There. The server named Ellen was so rude to me it is not even worth repeating how rude and meen she was toward me and others. The only way I would return here is if this place is shut down and open by better service and food. Where they are all Tully know how to run a businesses. But don't take my word take your own experiences for your self
Nice, basic menu with some Irish food options. Excellent Reubin sandwich. Good selection of Montana craft brews on tap. Comfy atmosphere and not as noisy as a few similar eateries in town.
Went through for a Lacrosse Tournament, recommended by some locals, this will definitely be a spot we visit frequently.
Was the last date I ever had, with the man of my dreams. Warriors won championship #3
Pub was beyond welcoming.
Order the poutine
I live in Pennsylvania and Thomas Meagher Bar is the highlight of my trips to Missoula. Fantastic food, excellent libations, friendly staff. Highly recommended!
