My first time using a fly rod! Nathan was an all around great guide and instructor. Caught fish throughout the trip and had a helluva good time! Would go down river with him again, and recommend this guide to others!

This was my first time fly fishing and Frank made this experience one to remember! My husband and I took this full day trip for our honeymoon and I was a little nervous, but Frank gave me lessons on how to cast, mend, strip and eventually reel in a nice rainbow trout! That’s a rush you can’t describe! As beautiful as the scenery was I was glued to my dry fly. We would 100% recommend True Water and Frank to anyone wanting to go fly fishing in Montana!

This was a great experience. I am very new to fly fishing and the man working there was very helpful and gave me a lot of good advice and helped me with getting the right flies and got me excited for fly fishing in Montana.

Booked a father and son trip on the Missouri and had a wonderful time bonding, bird watching, and catching some nice fish. Nathan the guide worked his tail off rowing to put us in prime spots when he wasn’t untangling my rig ;-). I think I knotted my line more ways than humanly possible but he was great in getting us back to catching (set set set) or at least hooking lots of fish. He even made coffee on the river with his jet boil. Complete services and a wonderful time.

Thanks to the precise instruction of our guide, ken, I was the only one in our group of about 20 who was able to catch two cutthroat fish.
I enjoyed the whole day of fishing on the boat.

I had an awesome day being guided by Nathan on the Flathead. The weather was beautiful, the hits were plentiful and Nathan was incredibly helpful, patient and great company.
