United States Postal Service reviews
14Expected delivery time is straight wrong/garbage! Expect packages a few days later than ups or FedEx! Ship elsewhere!
I am trying to call the post office for zip 59401 directly to inquire on the status of my mailbox key. For the past hour I have been bounced around from recording to recording.
I just wanted to mail my letter and I had to hear an old USPS worker rant about no one wanting to work because they wanted government handouts. Was incredibly rude and sarcastic when asking when the letter would ship. Avoid this location like the plague.
Zero stars! I'm sick and tired of scheduling pickups and then getting emails saying that my package has been picked up yet here it still sits! I'm a local business and this is why 99% of the time I use UPS
Been calling for over an hour to all different numbers listed for them and cannot get a hold of them!
If I could give 0 stars I would. This location is quite literally impossible to get a hold of, and it is ruining my Christmas. I’m a Missoulian who has a friend in Great Falls that I’m sending packages to. Each and every package has been marked as undeliverable and returned to sender or destroyed immediately. They did not give my friend notice, or let me or the original sender know. They give you absolutely no time to adjust your delivery method, and even if you WERE quick about it (you’d have to catch it literally the second they mark it as “undeliverable”) it’s impossible for them to answer a phone. And the main USPS service line can’t do anything about it! I’ve called this specific office over a dozen times in the past three days, waited hours and hours, and still nothing. They will not take care of you, or your packages. Use literally any other mailing service!
I swear we have the laziest mailman in great falls. Mail is always late and he makes 0 attempts to deliver any packages to our doors at the Franklins. Whenever someone is substituting for him, Our packages are always delivered to our door that doesn't fit in our lock box. What's his excuse? To many breaks? Always on his phone? Get rid of this guy!
The physical building is decent and the staff is nice, but the mail delivery person has consistently been lazy or pays no attention when delivering. Multiple times I’ve received mail from other neighbors, with the newest being my package being put in a neighbor’s mailbox. I can now only hope my neighbor hands me my package. Multiple times I’ve received a “we just missed you” form in my mailbox, despite actually being home during delivery. The biggest issue is I can’t file a complaint locally unless I drive to the actual post office. The reason is that nobody answers a phone there. Yes it’s really not that big of a deal to drive there but it is time out of my day.
In short, delivery personnel in my part of the city are a wild card and aren’t very efficient.
I put mail into my mailbox on Thursday and put the flag up. Friday, they didn’t even take it. Saterday (today) they put stuff into my mailbox, but didn’t even take my mail that was still in there with the flag up. It makes me mad because now it’s going to be even later than it was before. Thanks a lot.
Very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. Thank you for always making sure I'm taken care of.
Lazy inconsiderate mail deliveries when it comes to anything that won't fit in mailbox. If these lazy persons know they won't take maybe an extra minute or two to deliver a package, then why load it on their mailtruck in the first place? Terrible!
So this morning my husband was standing by our front door when our mail carrier helped himself to my peppers and strawberries from my garden when comfronted by my husband he threatened to call the cops for my husband stalking him. I'm jobless and pregnant I try to grow food to supplement and eat healthy.
I frequent the post office, and I am ALWAYS greeted with a friendly face and genuine conversation. The ladies in the front window somehow manage to make mailing out packages an enjoyable experience.
My big problem with this USPS location is their phone line. Their customer service in-person hasn't been helpful because the general manager isn't on the floor. Therefore, the only way to speak to the manager is by phone. This location does not answer their phone. I have called multiple times and waited over 2 hours. I would like to see better customer service with phones. Sometimes, my questions are short and I only request 2 minutes with an employee.
