I am convinced visitor.us is the best option for a longer Roadtrip. The cost savings of buying and then selling a car compared to renting are really significant. I researched buying a car as a foreigner, and going with visitor.us really is the best way to go. Matt is a really great guy and I am happy I got to meet him personally in Bozeman!

Needed to find a way to buy a car in the US in order to drive the Panamerican. We found a car on Facebook Market that was based in Washington State. We didn't have to drive to Montana in order to do the paperwork and get the plates. VISTOR. US took care of everything. They helped us with all the paperwork (Title, insurance, how to pass boarders, etc.) and sent us the plate within a few days in a location of our choice. Fast and convenient!

Matt from visitor.us was an absolute lifesaver! We encountered so many obstacles with registering our private sale van and he was there every step of the way. He has a solid system in place, a great attitude and genuinely wants to help get you on the road and exploring the USA. I had been reiterating over cost-cutting exercises on minivan and camper van rentals for several months when preparing for my USA road trip. The biggest pain of all being ridiculously overpriced CDW + SLI insurance options averaging at 25-30 USD per day. A deal-breaker for any non-American tourist planning a longer holiday. Eventually, I conceived the idea of buying / selling instead of renting. This is when, to my luck, I found visitor.us.

From the initial contact I could sense that Matt had it all figured out, showing solid and experience-based knowledge of the whole process. With all my questions answered and doubts cleared before the arrival, I subscribed. This turned out to be an excellent decision! No longer would I have to worry about the details of buying, titling, registering and insuring the car while anxiously wasting the first 2-3 weeks of my holiday. I was on the road in my Honda Odyssey within 5 days after arriving in LA!

During the trip I have been helped many times with travel-related topics and visitor.us made sure my journey went smoothly. I have received lots of good advice on how to sell the car before leaving the country as well.

Choosing visitor.us resulted in a lot of time and money saved. Thanks to that I have been able to travel at least 6 weeks longer than initially planned. This essentially meant I could afford driving down the whole Pacific Coast Highway from Olympia to San Diego, visiting ALL the major attractions and 8 National Parks instead of having to fly back to Europe! I had the full freedom of getting the car I wanted and adapting the vehicle to my travel needs, not the other way around.

Make sure to keep all of the above in mind when going for an unnecessarily pricey and inflexible rental option!

I’d been planning a motorcycle trip around America with my twin brother for years. The original idea was to take some time between jobs, fly to the U. S, buy a bike, figure out how I could register it and start exploring the country on two wheels. Sadly, for many reasons, the timing never aligned and we couldn’t make it work.

In late April, a good friend of mine said he was resigning and wanted to head to the States, so I quickly jumped on the opportunity and we stated planning a trip together. I was able to get four weeks off work so every day was crucial. Once we looked into what was involved it wasn’t as simple as I had thought and getting a bike registered and insured in our own names was going to be difficult and time consuming. I searched the internet for hours looking at all scenarios, eventually finding Matt at visitor.us and reaching out. Right from the start, Matt was incredibly helpful and honest. My brother actually lives in Colorado so he helped to research whether there was an option to use him and his home address to register the bikes more affordably. In the end, we used the service provided and it was a fantastic experience. We communicated with Matt through email and calls, with the three of us all in different times zones. In less than a month we managed to buy two Harleys in our own names, register and insure them (Matt took care of all this). He posted the plates and paperwork to Denver, Co. We landed, bolted the plates on and were on the road the very next day.

My biggest concern when planning the trip was wasting time getting the bike organized. The time saved alone is worth the fee for visitor.us. It is also important to consider that visitor.us registers the bikes in Montana where, unlike most US states, there is no sales tax. We had an amazing trip through the Rockies, from Denver to Calgary. We ended up meeting Matt in Montana and spending a night with him. He’s a great guy and I can not speak highly enough of the service provided by Visitor.us.

We have been involved with visitor.us since August 2018 with the purchase of our fifth wheel rv.the fact that we did not arrive in the USA until February 2019 was not an issue for them at all as they handled all the registration transfers and Title requirements without a fuss and kept the new registration plates for us until our arrival. When we purchased our tow vehicle in February we again used visitor.us and were met with the same professional advice.
I would not hesitate in recomending them for anyone visiting the USA.

With visitor.us we were able to buy a new Chev truck and fifth wheel online and get started on our road trip straight away. Great service and would recommend visitor.us to anybody wanted to own their own vehicle or RV.

We had an awesome experience with Matt. We had some initial problems in purchasing the Tundra for our 6 month Nth America trip, but Matt contacted the dealer and was able to sort it all out. We managed to catch up with him when we travelled through Bozeman and he also sorted out our MT registration on our camper trailer. Will be looking at selling the Tundra and moving into a MB Sprinter for our next trip and will be using vistor.us again

These guys were amazing. We were told not to even try to buy a car in the States but they made it happen for us. We are from Australia and managed to buy an old Corvette and drive it across the US. Use these guys. You wont regret it.

Visitor.us made the whole process of buying and selling a car in America as easy as could be. I took a 3 month trip around The States and having my own car was the best and cheapest way to do it.visitor.us handled everything and answered any questions I had - they're a super nice and friendly team! I had been banging up against every single hurdle and brick wall trying to sort out some wheels for my son, for a 3 month Road Tour of the West Coast. We used Matt to register and insure both a Class C Motorhome and a tow car as English citizens in the US.

Matt was brilliant from the first time we emailed him to helping us tackle tricky situations at Central American borders! Thanks to Matt Copenhaver of Visitor.us, a company in Bozeman Montana, I was able to forfill a lifelong goal in 2018 and complete a three month motorcycle trip in the USA. Costwise however, to rent a bike in USA over such a long period was out of the question, and being an Australian citizen meant I couldn't meet the criteria to purchase a motorcycle there, so I was thinking the trip would be a non event - until I found VISITOR. US on line, which Matt founded to arrange and help Australian / NZ, and British tourists buy a vehicle while holidaying in USA. As non US residents we were unable to insure our overland vehicle that we had bought in Colorado. A quick call to Matt and he had all the paperwork completed really quickly and efficiently so that we were able to start our adventure of the Americas.

It was great to get around in my own car my holiday experience with visitor.us was incredible it didn't matter that my resale of my truck was much less then what i paid as it was still half the expense of renting, my truck took me all up and down the west coast of America, it required a good service at the start of my trip and was no problem the rest of the time! Such a great way to go.i will definitely do another trip to America with visitor.us again soon!

Matt and the team were amazing! They made the process super easy for us. We first contacted them when are trip was just in the planning stages and they gave us loads of information and put us at ease. When we bought the car, everything was sorted very quickly. On arrival in the US our car was waiting for us with the plates on and off we went. During our trip through Central America at eat Border they seemed to want a different piece of paper, and matt was always on hand to get it to us!
