Quality of product relative to reliability, repeatability and price - TOP SHELF. If you want a seamless quick shipping of said ammo then kiss that goodbye. All of the praises about their ammo is offset by their fulfilment of the order side of the business.
Have ordered from them x3. EVERY, yes EVERY, time I have waited two months just to get the ammo started within the shipping process.
Admittedly, they do say it takes two to three weeks - but after waiting two (2) months, and emailing x4-5 times, I eventually and finally get a shipping invoice. But the fun doesn't end there, no it doesn't. The ammo, when shipped, arrives three (3) weeks later. So, a total of three (3) months from purchase EVERY TIME!
Sorry guys, I wanted to give better but three times in a row is frustrating.

I'll start by saying I haven't visited the store. I placed an online order, which said that it might take 14-16 business days to ship. I immediately got a confirmation email that stated 16-28 business days. After 32 business days with no update, I reached out to ask what the estimate was. After 40days with no update, I filed a credit card dispute. After another 45 business days, my bank hadn't heard from them and gave me my money back.

So the store itself might be wonderful, but I wouldn't recommend purchasing anything online.

I placed an order on December 22, it is now January 30th. In this time I was told a shipping label was being created. After several phone calls with no answer, I reached out with email. They replied with some nonsense about forgetting to email me about waiting for large shipping boxes. I was told I would get tracking information by last week. I'm still waiting. I feel I'm going to have to contact my credit card for refund and/or reach out to the authorities in that state. This is order is about $2300. I think I've been quite patient, as this is not a small sum of money for me and they did not hesitate to charge my card when the order was placed. I would like to give a higher review, but at this point I don't think it is possible. I'll try one more time to contact them before I take action with my credit company or legally if there is any resistance or difficulty. Hopefully, I can change this review.

Before I ordered, they did mention it could take up to 14 days for shipment to get sent to UPS. It is now been a month and a half and all they have done is created a label. They are not emailing me back. They are not calling me back they do not answer their phones anymore Almost seems like a scam.

Placed an order for. 308 ammo back in October knowing the lead time. Received UPS tracking number December 30th, with a Label created status from UPS. Its January 19th and nothing has changed in status. No reply to calls, text messages or emails. Started a dispute with my credit card since they charged the full amount months ago. Not sure why a company cannot reply to emails, I've been buying ammo online for years and never had this type of radio silence.

Made an order over 2 months ago, so far the only activity I've seen is the creation of a shipping label about a week ago with no other activity since. 2 phone calls with a voicemail and 2 emails also left unanswered. I'm a pretty patient person but this isn't right. Will most likely try to cancel the transaction with my bank very soon.

Order place September 19th of 2023 for 250 rounds of. 308 as of January 7th, 2024, I have not received any notification of ammunition being shipped. No one cares if you are a small business, if you can't fill out orders within 3 month's time, don't act like you can. I acknowledged the 16-28 business day delay, and you failed even that.

Noah was fantastic. Always a wealth of knowledge and pleasant to work with. Recommend Western Montana Tactical to all my family and friends

Edit: was finally able to get in contact with the owner and my shipment had gone out the day before, he provided the tracking information and i happily changed my original review.

Placed an order for ammo 90 days ago, after 30 days of no shipment, i reached out and was told my order would go out next week on NOV-10 by greg. Ive called and emailed more times then i can count at the 60day mark to today to nothing.

Placed an order in Oct for 308 ammo. Waited and waited, finally got an email from Greg on Nov 20. Was told my order was going out that week and he would email me a tracking number for my shipment. Here it is Dec 14th and nothing, I have called and emailed them but no response what so ever about my order. Think twice before placing an order on line with this company. Customer service is very sad to say for getting back to there customers. Will not do business with Western Montana Tactical ever again. Takes your money and gets nothing for it. Take my money else where!

This is a must go to shop! Just picked up a Henry. 45-70 from Noah. Noah is very knowledgeable and will get you setup with what your looking for. Great prices and service!

Been almost 2 months and counting waiting on my order! Called and messaged no response.label was finally created 7 days ago now.still no updates at all

Great people no problems received order in timely manner also emails along the way I'll be ordering from here again

I placed an order for. 308 Ammo early in October this year. Received a confirmation email stating it may take up to 28 days for delivery of product shortly after. It is now December. I have sent them two emails with no response. I will be calling them tomorrow, but I have heard they never answer the phone. I know they don't respond to emails. If a company needs this much time to fill an order, they need to state that. And also can somebody there actually respond to emails?

Great experience with WMTAC. We called and they had what we were looking for (couldn’t find the bullets in stock anywhere) and we got them within a week or so! Thank you.

Placed an order for ammo was told it was going to be 16-28 day lead time on shipping.that was 150 days ago. No response to emails. Horrible customer service. Buy gear/ammo literally anywhere else than here and save yourself time/money. If i could give zero stars I would.

Placed order on Sept 1st. I saw the 16-28 business day lead time and was fine with it. I emailed recently at the 40 day period with no response. Coming up on 60 days and still no response! Have emailed several times with no response. Terrible customer service. I will be back charging my purchase if this is not answered and delivered by the 65 day mark.

Edit: owner contacted me to make things right, which I appreciated. Would consider buying from them again because their prices are hard to beat, but I would want better customer service upfront for continued business

After placing my order I immediately got a confirmation email. A couple business days went by without further order updates so I sent an email. No response. 2 business days later I called twice with no answer. I left a voicemail with the first phone call. Within a couple hours of my phone calls, the owner called me and told me he was packing my box. After hanging up the phone, I received my updated order status and my package tracking number. 11 days after ordering I received my package in NE Arkansas. I was nervous because of reading the reviews but after experiencing this company for myself I give them a 4 out of 5. Really nice folks that want to get you your ammo. They are just busy! I do think adopting an automation of some kind for email and order updates would relieve a lot of panic for first time buyers. Especially when your credit card gets charged immediately. Updates always help. Overall, don’t be scared to order from this company. I’ll be ordering again from them.
