Wonderstone at Glacier, Columbia Falls MT

We were a late check-in at Wonderstone. An envelope with our room card was available to us. Thank you Wesley!
The process was quick, 1 minute, and smooth. We were so happy to quickly get into our warm cozy room and out of our wet hiking clothes. Location by West Glacier NP entrance is a huge plus. Some reviews mention road noise. Road noise is minimal between 11 PM and 7 AM. If you are a light sleeper there is a white noise speaker and/or ear plugs in each room. And/or take a Benadryl (BYOB). Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing experience! Room was clean, service was friendly and the view was spectacular. On top of it all it was affordable. I’ll definitely be back here when I am in the area.

Great hotel, easy check-in process. Good value for how clean and nice the rooms were. Served up great local coffee on top of all that.

Everyone is friendly, you would think by the highway it would be noisy but it wasn't, and the facilities are beautiful. I've stayed in $600/per night hotels that weren't as nice.

Had an excellent stay at Wonderstone at Glacier, during my trip to GNP. The room was clean, modern and peaceful with a nice view. Location is about 25 minutes to the park. Easy to check in and get additional services if needed. Would recommend and stay again.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful! Rooms are beautifully remodeled, and the amenities are above and beyond. Other reviews are correct that proximity to the highway can be loud, but nothing the complimentary white noise machine doesn’t drown out. Very reasonably priced for a cozy and modern stay. An excellent choice for lodging near the park!

Would really recommend a short stay here. We stayed one night after leaving Glacier NP - the rooms are really lovely - huge and furnished to a very good standard. Spotlessly clean. We didn’t have any problems with noise - we were on the top floor and at the back with a nice balcony to enjoy a cup of tea in the fresh air. Tea and coffee available in the lobby all the time. Staff were pleasant but distant and glued to their laptops whenever we passed through reception. Couldn’t find anyone at all at check out time. Might be nice if they acknowledged passing guests even with just a smile! Would definitely stay here again. Lots of good options to eat nearby - we chose the Backroom and had the best meal of our two week trip there.

From the greeter at the door to the quality of the room, I felt welcomed. I liked walking in through the front door to an open air environment. The greeter had just enough workspace to manage their customers.

It was my first motel experience with a walk-in shower - love that. I had a very nice, comfortable King bed and the heater worked very efficiently, and was quiet. The WIFI signal is strong, and needed to transfer photo images in my travels.

The room is very spacious, simple, clean and comfortable. Perfect for travelers, especially those who are visiting the nearby and spectacular Glacier National Park, or simply passing through. Coffee and Tea is always available, and packaged snacks - belVita biscuits and Heart Healthy Mix (fruit and nuts) are available in your room.

I recommend having a fresh, local breakfast at Montana Coffee Traders in Columbia Falls.

Man some of the reviews for this place are hideous and most of these negative reviews I don't believe. Perfect location, very quiet, friendly staff, and a very clean room with attention to detail. The second I walked into my room it reminded me of a upper class condo something you would see in vegas. The shower was unbelievable and more towels than you will ever need. I took some photos of the room and sent them to my wife I was so impressed. You all do a great job and thanks for making my stay feel like home.will be back.best wishes Lance Nesbitt

A surprising find; beautiful rooms, easy check in, a 20 min drive from entrance to Glacier NP

I debated whether to rate our stay 3 or 4 stars, but chose 3 because we found a roach and stink bug in our room. The floor was also dirty. The rooms are very spacious, but ours needed a better chair to sit in and a second chair. The sink and bathroom are nice but lack sufficient towel racks. Also didn’t like the automatic light in bathroom. It blinded me when used at night. I was in room one that is adjacent to ice maker and faces the main road. They supplied ear plugs, which I didn’t use and the noise level was high. In addition you could hear the person in the room above walking around. The location is very good and close to Glacier. The room rate was very good. I would probably stay there again but chose a second floor back room.

Great hotel better than any chain hotel. Great service room everything. Worth every penny and when I come back I will be staying here again.

As stated the rooms not facing the road are quieter. However at night the traffic drops to almost nothing. My wife and I had no problems with any noise. Now to the room It was very nicely upgraded. The manager is available and helpful. I really don't know why this is only considered a 1 star hotel. I was great value for the money.

The Wonderstone is a dream boutique hotel! My husband and I stayed at Wonderstone for two nights during our visit to Glacier and we couldn't have had a more wonderful experience. The moment we stepped into the hotel, we felt like we could take a deep breath of fresh air as we were greeted with kindness and hospitality from the receptionist working up front. Stellar customer service is hard to come by these days but that's one of the elements that makes Wonderstone set apart from competition. Apart from the incredible customer service, we absolutely loved our room and all of the beautiful modern touches. They have gone the extra mile to ensure guests truly feel right at home! We will absolutely stay here again during future visits!

Clean, updated. Very comfortable beds. Great location. It was expensive, but everything is these days.
We noticed lots of inside bugs, like spiders, maybe need to have exterminator come.
