Yellowstone Big Rock Inn reviews
18 Best value for the buck!
Location is close to the north entrance of the Yellowstone park, many restaurants and grocery stores. The rooms are clean and the view from the windows is outstanding. We were there in the Elk rut season and saw so many elks on the road just by being in the walkway/balcony. Will definitely stay in this place if we visit Yellowstone again.
The room sizes are pretty good. They were cleanish but there were a bunch of spots they missed. We are stuck here because all roads washed out and so yellow stone is closed for our whole vacation: (.
I would rate every thing but shower in the room we spent two nights five stars. The shower was really poor. A major improvement would be recommended. The room equiped a nice mini kitchen. Beds and pillows were exceptionly comfortable. Air conditioning had good performance. I enjoyed the view from the 3rd floor (as shown in the photo).
Amazing location, friendly staff and clean rooms. They have many restaurants in the vicinity, special mention to a Mexican casual eatery next door which was popular. The evening view outside is gorgeous, you have tables outside the door in the open corridor to view wildlife on the hills. Would definitely go back.
Great spot. Views are fantastic. Don't serve breakfast to my knowledge but there are plenty of places surrounding.
Good place to stay while you're visiting yellowstone. We got stuck here when the roads washed out from the heavy rain in yellowstone and they were very accommodating to the situation everyone was in. Would stay here again.
Room was very large and clean. Not fancy at all, but a good stay and a really good value. Beautiful view out the front door and super close to Yellowstone gate.
I hesitated to give it 4 stars because they mixed up how many nights we were staying, and the person I was talking to about the issue was a bit curt with me.
The large lady at the front desk was saying our room numbers out loud for other people to hear which made me feel very unsafe. I’ve been traveling to Yellowstone for many years and have never had someone saying my room number aloud for everyone to hear. Avoid this place at all costs. Even the properties in the park wouldn’t do this
Cute mule deer and elk walk around, the room was clean and very big, staff is really nice.
Check in was great and the lady gave us some awesome tips for wildlife sighting outside the park. Our room was great, the beds were comfortable. We also enjoyed looking at the elk from our room. We loved this place!
Cleanliness: 4/5
Service: 4/5
Comfort: 4/5
Noise: 4/5
Overall: A nice option in the small town. The only thing that left a sour taste in my mouth was that you need to call if you are checking in late otherwise they will release your room (seems a little greedy to me).
The extended review.
Cleanliness: 4/5 - The room had clean linens and towels.
Service: 4/5 - Front desk was friendly.
Comfort: 4/5 - The room was spacious and comfortable and I had a good night of sleep.
Noise: 4/5 - Not very noisy at all.
Our room smelled great, such clean and comfortable rooms. The staff is absolutely lovely. I am so grateful to have based 4 nights of our Yellowstone vacation here. The above foot noise / car door noise was noticeable in the early mornings but I am generally highly sensitive to that. Would recommend a fan or noise machine if you are the same. We would definitely stay here again in the future.
Adam and the staff were extremely accommodating. Make sure that we had everything that we needed for our stay. Room with spacious clean well cap listed in the top 5 hotels that we stayed at over the last 50-day road trip. The view is exceptional. Highly recommend this property. Adam thanks for everything!
Excellent place to stay. Lots of restaurants near by. Great views. 2 minute drive to NW gate of Yellowstone.
We had a great stay. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The inn was in walking distance to restaurants and the view was beautiful.
We love this place! Great staff.super clean.well kept. Definitely recommend. Location is perfect for adventures into park. Views from hotel are perfect. Did I mention great staff!
Big rooms and great location! Had a comfortable stay with my friends! 2 mins drive to North entrance of Yellowstone national park, restaurants nearby and beautiful view of the mountains in front.
Very clean and well maintained. Staff are super nice and balconies with table and chairs so you can relax and see the views, including elk walking down the sidewalk! Highly recommend
