Everything about this place was wonderful. The staff, the beautiful view, and the wildlife in the area. Definitely a great park to stay at the park.

Unforgettable moments in nature's embrace at KOA Journey Mountainside, Yellowstone. We stayed during labor day weekend so I'm unsure if it's just less people around that time but all amenities are clean while location is fairly serene. About 15 mins away from West Gate Entrance.

A fun and peaceful getaway that we can't wait to return to!

As beautiful as every movie and TV show depicts! The park is clean and well kept. There is copious amounts of road construction, so be prepared for delays. We were at a dead stop for almost 40 minutes. Fill your tank before heading in. Watch for wildlife. Don't try to pet the Buffalo. Don't stick your hands in the thermal pools. Don't be a dummy. Let's keep Yellowstone amazing.

This KOA was amazing, one of the best campgrounds I have ever stayed at. Washrooms and showers were beyond clean and plentiful, great laundry facilities, and the staff were gold. They even gave us free coffees when we checked out. I highly recommend!

We love this campground and the cabin accommodations. The surrounding area is so beautiful and the stream nearby provides a lovely sound to increase relaxation in the outdoors. The staff is so kind and helpful and the place is kept incredibly clean and well maintained. We have been to your campground numerous times and plan to return in the future. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Great tent sight next to a stream. Planning to return next year. Short drive from Yellowstone National Park and West Yellowstone. Visited in mid August.

Located very close to the entrance of Yellowstone West. An exceptional experience with a backyard trail. Restrooms are clean and spacious. Will certainly book again.

Kind of pricy for camping, morning staff not too friendly. Will try something else next time.

Nice. Showers clean enough and hot. Private room. Laundry only $3 wash and 25 cents per 10 minute dry. Front loader. Good experience overall

We stayed here for one night on vacation and the staff was really fantastic. We had a trailer with equipment and the staff helped us store it even though we got in late at night. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful and I can't recommend this place enough.

The bathrooms are very nice, they have individual rooms that have showers, sinks and toilets so you have privacy which is nice. They also have a really zen stream flowing through the camp grounds with a large pond, very serene. Everyone is super friendly.

A couple of miles outside the West Yellowstone Entrance. Very nice place. West Yellowstone is a nice little town. A lot of tourists shopping and restaurants. The NP is amazing.

Great KOA with all the amenities and close to the west entrance of Yellowstone. Drones are not allowed here

Has decent access to the more trafficked entrance to Yellowstone.

We camped in a van, and had plenty of rooms. It has the expected water, sewage and power, and comes with a metal fire pit, which isn't as much of a sure thing as you might expect for these campsites.

The area is decently wooded and green, but will likely be packed during peak months. Plenty of room to walk a dog.

Warning; if you are camping in a tent, be aware that if the game Warden issues a bear advisory, your reservation may be cancelled out of an abundance of caution.

Showers and bathrooms are clean and spacious.

Staff was friendly, however, given the daily cost, the RV pads were lacking - uneven gravel and dirt. The "grassy" area adjoining the RV gravel was unattractive weeds and rocks. For similar costs there were nicer RV sites closer to the park entrance and downtown shops, restaurants, etc.

Wife and I stayed here 3 nights while visiting Yellowstone. Site is conveniently located close to West Yellowstone but beyond that, was not great. The bathrooms were disgusting, especially the showers. The sign at the bathrooms said they were cleaned “as needed” but appeared to not be cleaned very well, if at all. There was hair, dirt, mud and other things in the showers every time we attempted to shower. They were gross to the point that we elected to to shower. WiFi was advertised but when I asked about not being able to connect I was told it was “hit or miss” There was not a level spot at our campsite to be had for our tent and we lost power on the last day. I recognize this is a campsite but we’ve stayed at other sites for cheaper that we’re far nicer. I would not recommend.

Booked the room thru Wyndham Rewards program. At the time, this motel was a super 8 by Wyndham. The day after we checked in, we were informed they are no longer part of Wyndham. The sign out front still says super 8 by Wyndham. Wyndham isn't even aware this motel is no longer part of Wyndham, per my phone calls with Wyndham. I was charged both the points I agreed to pay, plus over 940.00 on my credit card. For a 3 night stay. Staff at the hotel said it wasn't their problem. They stated everyone got an email before the season started. I searched my emails, then my husband's, found nothing. Went back to the front desk. They misspelled the email address. However, she stated she would resend it right then to the correct Email. That was yesterday, still nothing. After looking in and around the motel, I found a 3×4 card at the sink referring to the change and decal on the headboard and a nice sign in front, saying their new name. The sign can barely be seen from the road. In any case, for 1800.00, it costs for the 3 weekday nights. I would definitely say not a value. I would not recommend staying here.
