I am extremely satisfied after working with Tom. I have a long record and any small charge can cause me a very harsh sentence. I hired Tom only 2 weeks before my court date for a simple assault charge and in that short amount of time he did everything he needed to do to make sure that i would not end up in jail again. I spent a few hours looking up attorneys in the Toms River area to represent my father on about 12 charges ranging from 18 month jail time, to minor city ordinance. All the attorneys I spoke with either tried selling me on themselves or how great their were, or scare me into their services which I did not appreciate. I asked Tom to not give me any fluff and give me the realistic expectations, which is exactly what he did.

This guy did his research and earned his fees on my fathers case. He not only did his due diligence on my father's NJ case, but he also researched a separate case we had in Maryland which had a direct impact in our NJ case.

He was able to get one of the cases completely thrown out, and was able to get the other's dropped down to less severe cases.

All in all, Tom Campo was able to give my father and I some security in a time which we had major concerns for my father's future. He handled our case as if we were his own family, and always answered my calls, text, and emails.

Had an unfortunate fender bender in August in the parking lot of a Point Pleasant NJ motel. Midnight knocking on motel door by police and charged with leaving the scene of an accident. Damage minor enough that I didn’t realize I had hit anything. Charge carried the possibility of jail time, loss of license, points and a fine. Promised to call the next day, and he did. I explained everything to him. For an extremely reasonable fee he handled everything by phone or mail, and even appeared in court on my behalf to save me a trip back to NJ. Throughout everything, he was honest, kind and professional. He got the charge dropped to not reporting instead of leaving the scene of an accident. Long story short, he’s an amazing attorney who saved me time, aggravation and money. He knows the players and the courts in NJ. My fine and court costs were under $150, which to me was a miracle. I hired Tom Campo in March 2019. I had a 10 charges. Not gonna get into specifics but Tom got 9 of them dismissed and the reduced minimum on the other. Wow, I was prepared for so much worse.
A few things about Tom Campo. I liked him instantly. He personally answers calls and personally gets back to you. He didnt give me false hope. He tells you how it is. And most of all his presence in the courtroom is Top Notch. The way the other attorneys, prosecutors and even the Judge acknowledged him speaks volumes of his professionalism and experience.
Thank you Tom Campo. I wouldn't hire any other attorney and would recommend him to anyone who has gotten themselves into a bind. He made a bad situation so much easier.

The worst attorney in the state of New Jersey. Mr.campo should not be allowed to practice law.i hired him for two criminal drug charges to the tune of fifteen thousand dollars 10k for first crime 5k for the second.he did not get either charge reduced lol i did not know better I'm from new york i went on line he seemed honest so i hired him.the six months leading up to case i was worried sick he told me on 10 occasions i had nothing to be worried about.needless to say i got a five flat which is a five year prison sentence.i served two years.if that is nothing to worry about i don't know what to say.the second charge was a simple third degree possession of narcotics he pleaded guilty to it.i just recently had same charge i hired a legal aid pool attorney and wound up with 20 times better outcome than with tom.im not writing this because im some bitter person i hired attorneys after him they looked at the case i went to prison for and they were flabergasted they could not believe with the money i spent and the joke of a charge that i got a five year prison sentence this was the feeling of three highly respected attorneys in monmouth county they all said i should have never seen prison for one day let alone 2 years which is time i wound up serving in prison but tom campo advised me for six months i had nothing to worry about.trust me if you are thinking about hiring him its the biggest mistake of your life probably bigger than getting in trouble in first place.i hope this review saves someone.
