18th Ward Brewing reviews
10Very good brewery, several options of delicious beers, the blonde is incredible. The place is cozy and the music is excellent.
This place was fine? The food was serviceable and the beers were decent. Tried a couple of their cocktails which were basically just juice. Also the bartender gave very weird vibes- like he seemed real high but also oddly aggressive.
There are worse places to have a drink while waiting for a show at Brooklyn Steel- but there are also definitely better.
Bartender kept staring at my boyfriend and i as we were waiting for a concert at brooklyn steel to start. Weird uncomfortable vibe, definitely is for cismen.
Great brewery to hit before and after a show at Brooklyn Steel. Food was spot on for the brewery.
Fantastic brewery for pre and post show drinks and food. Highly recommend their draft beers and quesadillas! Great music also! Can’t wait to go back!
Went there after a show, cool staff and really enjoyed the Psych Ward IPA! I live outside of Brooklyn and wish there were a million 18th Wards here but absolutely pleased with the one near BK Steel!
There’s a reason this bar isn’t brimming over with people when there’s a concert at Brooklyn Steel- the bartenders are incredibly demeaning and talk to their customers as if they are kindergartners. My friend is legally blind and when asking the bartender what sort of Sour IPA they had the bartender very rudely shouted “the menu is up there” even after she explained she couldn’t read it. It really feels like you’re at one of those gimmicky restaurants where the whole schtick is having the wait staff be rude to you.
The bartender told us our licenses were fake and were told to leave despite being over 21 for some years. We found a better place a few places down called FourFiveSix
18th Ward is one of my favorite local hangs, especially because of the main bartender, Ethan. There’s always something cool going on there (live music, comedy) and its a place you can always have good beer & great conversation.
