24 Hour Fitness, Nanuet NY

They don't monitor people's use of masks. Have been twice in the past week and numerous people are walking around with their masks off their noses or simply not on. None of the staff monitors the member's use of masks. You have to either be a tattle-tail, put up with a risk of Covid or leave. Why the health department doesn't do something about this is unbelievable. Thus is why gyms were closed down, they don't take precautions seriously.

It is irritating to be waking up 4am to rush going to the specified 5am time slot only to find out the staff lost the keys to the door.

I had enrolled my son an year ago but since he was going to College he called to cancel and they convinced him to freeze the account without incurring any charges. An year later i see a charge on my credit card so my son called them about it and cancelled the membership but they would not refund the charge stating we should have called in advance.
They are so eager to grab your money and providing nothing in return. Just a matter of time before they fold up just like the rest of the gyms in the area.

I attempted to cancel my membership and was told that I had to go into to do so. During this pandemic why are people being forced to go in-person to cancel their membership?

Wonderful Gym! The gym offers so much more than any other gym I've been to! I love the classes and the pool! The machines are nicely organized in thier own space. All of the instructors are super friendly! The gym is a bit on the pricier side, but it is worth it!

I've been to many gyms in the past and 24 hour fitness of Nanuet really exceeded all of my expectations! Not only are the facilities well cleaned and maintained, but the classes are convenient and approachable. Had such a great experience and will continue as a member:)

Typical corporate gym where no one seems to care about the customer. Weights are seldom in the right place;equipment sometimes does not work: cleanliness could be better; no message left on Christmas day as to hours, etc.

Worst gym in the world! Horrible day care! Horable service! Do your self a favor and don’t joint this gym place is the worst!

Corporate gym with crappy equipment that is poorly maintained. Weights scattered all over the floor and the staff is absolute garbage. 2 stars because 24 hours is convenient for my work schedule.

Very disappointed.my son joined & told them that he would only be here for 2 months as he would be leaving for college.conned into signing a contract. I'm out $150 out of pocket & can't get to speak with anyone.appalling after sales customer service & a liar of a sales manager!

GYM is great for people who need to go late or very early due to work and family situations. Need to double the amount of popular equipment like the Smith machine. Also dumbbells tend to not be re-racked and scattered. And sometime people get chalk all over the place. More of a member issue but maybe a staff member to moderate the inconsiderate members.

This location is not up to the standard of other 24 Hour Fitness locations in the area. It is poorly run and badly maintained. Machines are often broken. The pool is often out of order and understaffed.

Very disappointed. Marketing and manipulation techniques. I know best what I want to DO, dear employees. The equipment does not stand out from other gyms, like Planet Fitness etc.but it's more expensive just because of 24/7.

Five rows of six, four rows of five, and thirteen stripes. The best part of this gym is red, white, and blue. Otherwise, great facilities with treadmills that don’t shake when you get above ten.

I’m looking for a new gym since the NYSC in West Nyack is just the worst managed gym I’ve been to. I’m not 100% sold on this one yet though. Got a guest pass
While it’s a very nice location, big spacious, it can get crowded and the locker room smelled really bad the day I went. Like nasty.
Staff was ok but nothing to Bragg about.

Need to keep going consistently to see those results. Serious gym but can be a social club during peak times. Still worth the investment.

The general manager Cheryln had one of her staff members come talk me on Saturday @ 1130am when us business man are looking for a little solidarity to tell me that my dress wasn’t to code. Please don’t bother me while I’m working out.

Corporate gym, crappy equipment and even worse upkeep. Undesirables frequent it during the night hours. It's convenient, so you deal with it.

I can only speak for the gym I currently go to which is a super gym. Thia gym has everything I need from weight lift to pool to basketball gym etc.
