I didn’t have a bad experience compared to other reviewers but keep in mind:
- cash only
- $5 / hour
- you’ll be asked to leave the key, the guy parks your car and then will retrieve it for you
- because of the above point you need to tip the guy
- ask what time they close (which is something to do anyway when parking at a garage)
- no pedestrian exit, watch out when walking on the ramp
The parking guy demanded a tip. It was a very uncomfortable situation.
I love this garage because it's close to Tangram 4dx theater. It's rates aren't the most expensive nor are they the cheapest.
We arrived and saw the sign. The attendant informed us that it was 4 dollars per hour, they close at 11 and it's cash only as soon as I rolled down the window.
4 dollars per hour. We walked out of the lot 3: 51pm/1551hrs leaving my vehicle. (the attendant chased us because my wife forgot she had the key this time. I ran it to the attendant.)
We came back 6: 16pm/1816hrs and paid 12 dollars at the booth.
My car was driven to us in less than 30 seconds.
When the attendant got out of the car he asked for a tip but, since it's CASH ONLY I actually didn't have the cash this time because I carry cards and pay with my phone half the time or pre pay with an app. My wife is real petty with cash and gave exact change like the sign says.
The attendant grunted like a kid when u say no ice cream but I assured him next time I'd be prepared.
