67 Street Tire Shop reviews
17 Had to purchase an used tire from here in December 2022. It only last about two months. Probably because there were five repair patches inside the tire.
If you have the time, best to purchase a brand new tire from a reputable business.
STAY AWAY! Came in with a punctured tire on the thread. I asked them to patch the hole, but they took the tire and used a needle to make another hole in the side wall, telling me to buy a new tire from them. SHADY BUSINESS!
Overpriced, will try to just sell you something. But isn’t that every tire shop? Tire shop is a tire shop, good for flat fixes.
I wouldn’t recommend this place. Only use if desperate for something simple like adding air to tires.
S# hole. Cheating and tried to charge $110 for a used tire. Don't spend your time at this place. SCAM.
I will never ever come to this place he Cheats and lies he takes advantage, don’t come here go somewhere else!
I went there with a low tire pressure sign they checked my tire and said it can not be fixed they tried to push me to buy a used tire for 80 dollars I said no just put the donut tire they charged me 20 dollars for that I think I won’t go there anymore
CAUTION: They will bring you tire to inside quickly and cut a hole on side of your tire. Then tell you to change new. They also charge $30 per each hole that normally just $10 for other stores.
I'm a car guy, owned Sti, M3, Civics, Z's and a Mustang. I had a nail right in the contact patch of my tire. First- The guy jacked it up in the wrong spot- the control arm. I had to tell him to jack it in the right place.
Second, after they took the tire off and said I had 2 holes, one was in the sidewall and the other in the contact patch. The sidewall spot I suspect they did it intentionally. It is very unlikely to get 2 spots. There was also no nail in the sidewall, just a hole. Sidewall usually leaks faster than the contact spot. Also, without the nail holding back some of the air, it will leak even faster.
Very suspicious.
The first words you will hear from them is my friend the tire no good you have to change it even though you know the tires still brand new my case I just bought the tire like 3 months ago and it just needed a patch and still they try to persuade you to convince you to change the tire and when you say okay how much for the tire they will charge you for the used tire as much as you paid for the new one so one of my tires was losing air and they said it was the Vault they have to replace it I told him this tire I installed it right here so if it's the valve it's your fault you didn't give me the right vote is it no no no we did a better job anyway this will be my last time coming here
I had a leak which I believed could have been fixed with a plug-patch. They said it wasn't repairable and told me I needed a new tire. The tire they installed was mismatched against the other three and induced a dangerous vibration between 62-70mph. I had the dealer install the correct tire and the problem disappeared.
This place cheats people… I had gotten a flat tire from a puncture at the middle of the tire on the highway at the beginning of my 7 mile commute to work. I notice I had a flat tire 1 block from my destination. Before changing my tire, I had partially inflated the tire to see where the puncture was, and found the one puncture. When I brought the punctured tire to this location they were nice enough to take the tire out of my back seat and bring it inside the store. A minute later I went into the store and they told me that there was another puncture at the corner of the tire at the edge of the treads and the wall of the tire and told me that the tire was no good and I needed another one. The second puncture I suspect was done before I went inside. That tire only had 10,000 miles on it and they had ruined the tire. They proceeded to tell me that I needed a new tire and sold me a used tire for $150.00 when a new tire at the dealership is $180.00. I watched them take my old tire off but did not watch them put the new tire on. They were finished changing out the tire so fast and brought it out to my car that I doubt they even balanced the tire. Now that I know what they did I would even fall victim to any tire places again, and never again would I ever come back to this shop.
Tried to charge me $100 for a USED Goodyear tire. I tried to talk him down and he only said he can do $90. What a rip off!
My 87 year old mother came in with a low tire. He put air in one tire and she gave him a $5 tip and asked him to check the others - he told her to get lost. That’s the kind of people they are. Too bad, she would’ve bought 4 new tires from them.
This is a dirty tire take it in and tear it out and tell you it doesn't work and get a new tire
Do not come here! I second all the other reviews. This place scams you into buying a new, overpriced tire by puncturing the side wall when they bring your tire to the back to check for leaks. Stay away.
1 star because they'll take care of you quick and if you use their service, you'll drive away with a fixed/good tire. A second star for the benefit of the doubt because I did not witness any wrongdoing with my own eyes.
That said, after twice bringing my cars here to find that there was a sizable leak from the sidewall, in addition to having the expected nail/screw where the tire hits the ground, and being told that the tire is 'unfixable', unaware of these very many reviews detailing the same experience, and never having had a sidewall leak at any other tire shop-suffice it to say I've become very suspicious and will never come back here.
When I mentioned this and the prior reviews to the man running the place, all of a sudden his English began to falter and we did not have a productive conversation.
