I been waiting to write a review for Dr Hooman Neman for about 2 years but couldn't remember his name until now that i return to his office. For years I had issues with my front two teeth, had a noticeable crack on both. That all change once i came into this office and met Dr Hooman Neman and he gave me back the smile i wanted, I really can't thank him enough for a life changing result, I can now smile with confidence without trying to hide my teeth. I would highly recommend him to all my family and friends and i sure will be coming back to see him, thank you again Dr Hooman Neman, God bless you.

This is the most unprofessional business I have ever encountered in my 10 years of being in NYC. I booked an appointment for my son. I emailed over my husbands SS information AND our insurance information. I got an email back 2 days laters after following up myself and confirmed our insurance.
We get to the day of the appointment, which was scheduled for 11am. The office is to open at 10am. I called several times to reconfirm our appointment since I never got a confirmation and no one answered. I called 5 times. I also texted the number on the answering machine and never got an answer. We arrive to the office at 1050am and there is a fairly large crowd outside. They tell me the office hasnt opened. I see two people, a man and a woman, in medical scrubs waiting too. About 10 minutes later a woman in pink scrubs and arms tattoos rushes up to the front door and opens and unlocks it and about 7 people follow her inside. It was clear, the person was over an hour late opening the office. Very professional. We get upstairs in a TINY room and everyone is registering, etc. The man that was waiting outside ended up being the dentist that day, Dr. ARMIN LALEHZARI. When we were all waiting outside, he never identified himself. He doesnt have keys to his office? Did he try to be the leader and contact his staff to see why this office was over and hour late in opening? Not that I saw.
When we registered the receptionist acted as if she had none of our insurance information. I showed her the emails from her counterpart confirming this process was already completed and our insurance was verified. She didnt say much and asked for the card and my husbands DL and took about 15 minutes having to call and reverify this information. Annoying. We ended up waiting 40 minutes for the dentist to see my 2 year old. At one point the dentist, DR. ARMIN LALEHZARI, came out to speak to a patient and the patient wasnt wearing a mask. He did not ask the patient to put on a mask! I had to ask him kindly to wear one. Shouldnt this be the dentists #1 priority - safety for everyone in this TINY office? He dentist himself was behind the counter with the receptionist and not wearing a mask as well. I was shocked.
My husband, myself and our 2 yr old ended up going into the exam room, which was a about 200 square feet. Tiny. The room was not previously prepped as the nurse was still putting tape on items to keep them clean. The chair had not been disinfected. The dentist and nurse each had a disposable gown on, a mask, and a face shield. The dentist was great with my two year old, I will give him that. But we only were in the exam room for a total of 10 minutes. He counted my kids teeth and poked each one of them, took 5 minutes to polish them and then applied a foam fluoride. I specifically asked aboiut xrays and DR. ARMIN LALEHZARI told me that it was against their policy to take xrays on kids younger than 4. We said thanks and left, agreeing we would never return to them because of the experience but happy our kid had this teeth checked and was cavity free.
FLASH FORWARD:
I got a claim in the mail from the completely WRONG insurance company. They also listed my 2 year old son as the person who was the policy holder. Obviously they denied this claim. I dont understand why, after sharing all of our insurance information TWICE, that they still billed the WRONG insurance company in the WRONG name. Seriously?
Also, on the claim they charged $96 for xrays (which were never taken due to their policy) AND $200 charge for PPE! WOW! All in all it was about a $1000 claim for 10 minutes of work preformed on my kid. This place is EXTREMELY unprofessional, unsafe and incompetent in their procedures. Beware.

I went in for just a cleaning. They ended up taking a bunch of x-rays that I did not ask for, like probably around 15-20. As soon as the dentist started working on my teeth he suggest to fix a small cavity, after doing so, he cleaned my teeth for maybe 10 minutes.

The facilities don't look very clean compared to other dental offices I have visited.
