9/11 Museum Workshop: 100 Images & Artifacts Exhibit reviews
7Whilst we were in NYC we did all the main attractions. The 9/11 workshop was by far the most interesting and best value. It may only be a small museum but there was plenty there to engross us for nearly 3 hours. The museum curator Gary really cares about the stories that need to be told regarding the artefacts found during the recovery operation. You learn much more than from the fairly sterile larger 9/11 Museum next to the memorial pools. He was onsite for months during that period and has numerous tales of hope and heartache from those times. The only chance you will get to see and hold real items from the Twin Towers. Thanks Gary for a thought provoking afternoon. Stuart and Natalie in England.
The remodeling of this place is so beautiful. Definitely worth a visit there’s shopping, food, scenery.

A must for anyone interested in 9/11. A small and intimate space, with relics from the building you can touch and recovery stories by those who worked on the pile. Gary's photography is unique as he was there for months alongside firefighters working on the recovery. It brings another perspective to the 9/11 story. Gary's passion for documenting the recovery through photographs is a moving experience. Must see. Thank you Gary for your devotion to telling this side of the story.
Excellent musée
Visite en famille avec enfants de 11 et 13 ans. Petits et grands ont adoré ce musée riche en émotions grâce aux commentaires en français. Et au super accueil de Gary!
This is a must see while in NYC. His pictures really capture the emotion and the audio brings it to life. He also takes the time to speak with you and answers any questions you have.
Wonderful to learn the stories, feel the emotions of the recovery workers and pay tribute to all those that lost their lives on the most impactful day in history! Gary was kind enough to open the museum on a day off. His passion for documenting 911 history through pictures/audio then sharing it with the world is priceless. My three children were engaged and moved for the entire tour. Thank you Gary for your kindness! Kristina
