This is a sad, pretentious, prejudice remake of something that was great.
Meh.
My favorite gay bar in NYC.
No pretense & everyone is welcome. I only visit NYC every so often, but when I stop into 9th Ave Saloon, it feels like my local, neighborhood bar.
Guys are typically very friendly and open to conversing - it feels like I meet a new friend every time I stop in.
Oh, and great wallpaper in the bathrooms.
It’s a dive bar. You’re getting exactly what you think when you go to a dive bar. Extremely nice staff, very clean and new bathrooms, friendly atmosphere LGBTQIA+

I went to opening night last night and had the best time. The bartenders were great, the drinks were flowing, the crowd was lively and casual. I loved it and they kept the popcorn machine!
