Absolutely great trip into New York city. The driver was fantastic and the bus was comfortable and quiet. Definitely would recommend the Ambassador service for a few more bucks
Complaint on Bus 157, i was doing a turn that had two lanes on the main street, after the turn bus 157 merged into MY lane which he clearly saw me and almost hit my car.it was an overweight middle aged man with sunglasses on, he TRIED to cut me off really badly but obviously couldnt because i was in my own lane, he had no choice but to let me pass and if he had cut me off he would had hit my car BADLY. I have a dash cam to prove it and i will send it to give proof, absolutely awful you would think a man driving such kind of bus would KNOW how to drive.pls contact back asap.
Bus with plate 17450 PF #171 jumped into an onramp to pass traffic stuck in construction. We were completely stopped when suddenly this bus (which we had passed miles before and I had remarked at the paint marks where another vehicle had been sideswiped) and drove past the end of the merge ramp nearly hitting our vehicle. Safety report form on the website is garbage but clearly they employ irresponsible drivers as evidenced by damage on the bus and nearly crashing into my brand new car. If you want to get somewhere safely, book another company.
I had a reservation on the 10: 30 Hampton Ambassador today from 40th Street to the Hamptons. As of 11: 15 (when I made alternative plans), no bus had arrived and, far worse, no communication whatsoever try the company to the waiting passengers. When a few called (as I did), we were told (after being on hold for more than five minutes) that the bus had a mechanical issue and another regular Jitney bus which has more passengers and no single seating like the Ambassador was being substituted and should arrive around 11: 30. I understand mechanical issues occur but making no effort to communicate with waiting passengers is inexcusable.
A very clean bus - excellent driver- even in rain he kept it safe but smooth driving. Our hostess was checking in on everyone and very efficient.
Aboard the 133 bus!
I had a reservation on a Jitney Bus at 5: 40 and this bus stopped and asked me to board confirming my name.
Five blocks later I was told that this was not my bus but I could change to the Jitney which was behind me.
Later asked again that if I wanted I could stay on same and continue trip, which I did as for the convenience to stay.
I assumed that they had a partnership with Jitney as I saw the name outside.
To my surprise I was told later in the middle of the trip that I owed extra $ 32.00 for this was not a Jitney.
I feel fooled as I could easily change buses if they had explained the extra cost.
Not nice.
