A&A Bake Doubles and Roti, Brooklyn NY

Delicious roti, doubles (which are like little fried bao breads with curried chickpeas on the inside), curries in a homely deli-like setting. Service was extremely friendly, and the prices are super low. The doubles and the potato filled roti we got were generously sized and so soft and fluffy. Loved the doubles' chickpea filling so much. I'd be a regular if I lived in the area.

I traveled all the way from North Carolina on the plane for these & planning on visiting this #1 Trini eatery again all food items are #1

I really really wanted to like this more than i did and plan on returning.and therefor added one star.the very very big pieces of bone and cartilage had me worried for someone choking if they weren't careful and the place in turn being sued.these practical thoughts took me out of enjoying the flavors.obviously popular and a great neighborhood vibe.will be back.

The service is a bit slow and the curry was salty. Some of there dishes are a hit and some are a miss.

I REALLY THINK THAT THE FOOD SPOILED. BECAUSE I WAS SICK THE NEXT DAY. PLUS THE VEGGIES WENT BAD THE NEXT. DAY I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS SPOT.

Just ordered from here (via Postmates) for the first time, but it definitely won't be the last. The doubles, the potato pie, the roti — so delicious! I'm no Caribbean food expert, but I'm definitely a fan.

Food is good, but I despise false advertising! If there's an item on the menu that can only be sold until a certain time, the public should know. My debut experience today is that I wanted 4 plain roti skins only for them to tell me that they only sell plain roti skins until noon. If this is the case, along with any other policies this restaurant has that may or may not be considered ridiculous, then it should be heavily mentioned on the website and on the menu to reduce the customer's frustrations. Customers should be treated and respected better than that instead of being misled. You've got to do better!

Yooooo hold up. This place kills! I don't think anything I ordered was bad, but when I go back, I'm just getting non stop doubles with all the sauces SHEEEESH.

All I have to say is my mouth was watering the entire time I was waiting for my food.the taste was EXQUISITE!

I love this place! The customer service is wonderful and the doubles are to live for! The aloo pie was great. The pholourie didn't have too much flavor. But they still get a five for their hospitality!

You all can come to Atlanta anytime! I'll definitely be back to NYC for them again!

A and A doubles to me is the best place to get a doubles in Brooklyn but I went up a notch and got 2 roti’s from there yesterday, 1 for my friend who doesn’t eat meat and was going try it for the 1st time and 1 for myself. I was told by the owner that the vegetable Roti came with 2 sides so I said ok give me potato with channa and pumpkin, I was so shocked when he told me that’s 3 sides… since when does potato with channa come separate as two different sides? And the goat only had potato and the goat lol. I was so dumbfounded that I reach out to couple ppl in Trinidad asking if that’s a new thing, but they themselves was also very shocked! I plan to visit Ali’s Roti shop on Utica in the near future just to see if that’s what they are doing also. Unbelievable!

This was such an amazing recommendation from a colleague. I suggest you got with a Double (everything) & a bake salt fish as a first time combo. I can't wait to eat again.and hopefully soon
