Abbott Pizza, Buffalo NY

Best pizza around. There are always slices and amazing garlic sticks at lunch time ready to go. The weekly sub specials are fantastic. Everyone has a favorite wing place in Buffalo. I have a favorite place based on my proximity. If you are near Lackawanna or South Buffalo, you won't find a better wing PERIOD!

South Buffalo (and Abbott road) are blessed with two great pizzerias. Abbott staff are great and the pizza is outstanding.

I'd give 5/5 but I've only tried their cheese & pepperoni pizza, which is a 5/5. Honestly underrated and much better than it was a decade ago. People should give it a second, or one hundredth chance, because it's worth it.

First few pizzas we got from them were great. Ordered about a couple weeks ago and they forgot the pepperoni. It's easy to forget so I understood and called back for a replacement. Go to pick up the new pizza and it's charred black w/o the extra cheese that was ordered. They pretty much just took an already made cheese & pepperoni pizza, threw sausage on half and burnt it in the oven in order to cook the sausage. Call back today to give them another try, the guys just talking to someone in the background for five minutes without telling us to hold. We cancel the order, he says "whatever" and hangs up on us.

Good food, a little bit expensive, but worth it. In today's economy, I don't mind paying a bit more for good wings, everyone has bills to pay! Pizza was fresh and they don't skimp on the cheese!

My cheeseburger sub was o.k; I might go as far as "not bad". I will go back because I live in the neighborhood and I knew I should have just gotten a chicken-finger slice in the first place.

I stopped in to get some slices (huge pieces). As always they had a fresh hot pizza. They have been putting out great pizza for years! Definitely worth ordering pizza from here.

The other night I ordered a pizza sub with mushrooms to be delivered. Let me ask you a question? How does a pizzeria who has good pizza which I do happen to like have the worst pizza sub I’ve ever gotten in my life. First there was way too much cheese. When I first opened up the sub the cheese was covering almost half of it. After I got through the cheese I find out that the sub is not even cut. Then when I go to cut it it was so soft I had no choice but to pull it up and rip it. Which tells me that whoever made it probably experienced the same thing and just said heck with it and wrapped it up. I can’t tell you how disappointed I was I was aggravated and frustrated because I was looking forward to it. I don’t order their subs anymore due to the fact that every time I order a sub the bread is never toasted no matter how many times I’ve asked and then when I call they tell me we toast all the bread rolls I don’t know what kind of toaster they use or what the problem is with it but I like some crunch or a little bit of crunch when I bite into my subs however I figured you just couldn’t mess this one up. I guess I’ll just stick to a slice here in there. That way I can’t go wrong so far anyway.

I had to rewrite this review of 2 stars. After a small mixup of my order. Which can happen after all they do deal with a bunch of us A holes. Their food is one of the best in the Buffalo area. And the owner is always willing to fix any issues with super quick responses unlike some places that black list you for their own faults when you mention them. My last order was amazing. My go to spot from now on is Abbott Pizza. Excellent!

Absolutely best slices ever! I actually got two slices this time that we're kind of burned, they took them back, gave me two new delicious ones, and refunded all of my money. Great business! And the service is great.

I use to go to Abbott Pizza alot especially for their Royal Sub and Wings. But the last few times I've gone there it looks like they buy the smallest wings they can and charge top prices for their wings. The Royal Sub I bought this Friday was way over cooked with soggy lettucewwaovcooked with

Ordered take out tonight. Guy on the phone was rude taking the order. Order was done wrong. Gave the cashier payment and after it took 5 minutes to find my already done order, she never gave me change. Even heard them talk about taking the phone off the hook because their were too many orders. And lastly, the food was bad, really bad. My advice, go somewhere else.

Yall need better service i swear how do you mix up bbq chicken fingers with bread sticks an now i gotta pay a difference 18bucks cause youre staff dont know how to write a order down

This is the closest pizza place to our house. The food is usually good. But there's always an issue. 3 bread sticks instead of 5. Pay for extra bleu cheese and never get it. Tonight, the pizza wasn't cut. Not like the knife didn't go through, but like not cut at all. They may be closer, but it might be better to go somewhere else

The customer service is excellent, the food is cooked/delivered in a timely manner. I absolutely love the chicken souvlaki wrap, it's the best chicken souvlaki wrap I've ever had.

I ordered a small bacon cheeseburger pizza. It was fresh & hot, but did not have a single piece of bacon on it. (Back to Bellas for this for me.)

So, I've been trying to put off this review for some time now because I'm incredibly perplexed. Abbott wings are very good for the most part. My husband and I have ordered from them many times since we've lived in this area. Unfortunately, with that being said 100% of the time, there has always been something wrong with our order one way or another! We've verbally have spoken to someone several times about it since we enjoy their food, but yet we only get "we're so sorry, we have a new cook, we can credit you, or we've hired new people, and they don't know how we do things. " Is usually the selection of excuses we've gotten. I understand things change, but a lack of communication is not okay because we typically spend $30+ with every order to have something messed up. It's not right. If you choose to order their food, they have a great steak pizza and love their wings. The other downside is they change how they make their suicide sauce. The suicide wings used to be my absolute favorite and I guess depending on how they feel, they change up the recipe. When asked about it, they say they change it up between two, and when I've asked about the one I would regularly get, they didn't understand what I was saying. So customer's concerns go out the window.
Lastly, in regards to their delivery service, before, we usually pay over the phone, with no issues, and sign the receipt when we get our food. For whatever reason, when you choose delivery now, we get a phone call when our food gets to our place and are told we have to come outside to sign the receipt and grab our food. When we have to meet them at their car, they're on their way to our door anyway! The phone call is pointless, and the customer should not be coming out of their home to grab their food when we pay for delivery. So all in all, if nothing changes we will no longer order from them, it's overall a hassle, especially when we can't get what we pay for.

I have been patient with Abbott Pizza since they are around the corner. Our sub orders have been wrong a lot. Received tomatoes or onions when we said we didn't want any. Another time my sub didn't have cheese. Last week my husband ordered a chicken finger sub mild and it was HOT.
Yesterday was it. We did ONLINE ordering. Which said our food would be ready at 5: 10pm. It was a Saturday evening Bills game, but we ordered from Abbott based on the turn around time per their app. My mom got there at 5: 10.it wasn't ready until 5: 40. My 70yr old mother sat in her car for 30 mins waiting. I even called the pizzeria to see if my mom picked up the order bc we were worried she wasn't home yet. The girl who answered the phone gave me an attitude, like it was my fault YOUR online ordering was incorrect.
My suggestion is either update the online ordering with accurate turn around times, have someone call if the time is inaccurate or turn it off during high times.
The staff is usually friendly when I'm there to pick up my food, but sadly it was a horrible experience yesterday.
